Edwards is a LAWYER. He knows all too well the power of hearsay. He also knows that now he is not in a courtroom for another attorney to say ‘I object, hearsay’. Everything he says that Musharraf says is hearsay that can’t be verified and would not be admissible in court.

He knows that. It is word games. Anything he says that someone else said is true until someone calls him on it. Nobody really cares enough to call him on it, but no way has he spoken to Musharraf since he left (was voted out of) government.

Edwards is lying through his teeth because he has nothing to lose.
