One other thing about Common Sense Issues and Huckabee. CSI is a 501(c)4. It can support candidates for office. CSI supports Huckabee for President. It runs the trusthuckabee.com website.

Huckabee disavowing this group is rather mute at the moment. The group endorses him. It's employing push polls to help him win. Merely stating he has nothing to do with the group isn't enough. He can pick up the phone right now and ask them to stop breaking South Carolina law.*wink*othercampaigns*wink*

Ok, so a supposedly "disconnected" group that "supports" Huckabee is breaking the law in SC.

Here's an exit question for ya: Does SC Election law provide for the removal of a candidate from the ballot if there is election lawbreaking in connection with his campaign?

I would just LOVE to see the Huckster ripped off the SC ballot because of his law flaunting. Would serve him right.

how the heck did the Huckster get the cash to make ONE MILLION long distance phone calls?

It's not his campaign. The phone calls are made by CC Advertisng out of Virginia. Common Sense Issues has contracted them with an exclusive agreement. No other campaign can use CC Advertising in this election cycle.

According the Newsweek, Common Sense Issues is funded by people that have also donated large amounts of money to the Huckabee campaign. Newsweek also reports that many of the contributions to Common Sense Issues, of those that also contributed to Huckabee, were made AFTER they gave large sums of money at Huckabee fundraisers.

The Newsweek story goes on to report that well known wealthy Christians in and around Dallas are the folks that gave large donations to Huckabee and then were subsequently recruited by Common Sense Issues with solicitations for donations.

It's very difficult to prove coordination between the Huckabee camp and Common Sense Issues. Common Sense Issues could just take Huckabee's FEC filings and use that data to solicit the same donors to give money to Common Sense Issues.

CSI's executive director is Patrick Davis. He is a former employee of the RNC. CSI seems to think that federal free speech laws permit them to robocall voters in SC.

The group making the calls is Colorado-based Common Sense Issues and the executive director said he wants to make a million calls by Friday.

So...presuming they are making the calls from out of state to avoid getting prosecuted by SC for push-polling -- how the heck did the Huckster get the cash to make ONE MILLION long distance phone calls?

Funny how the "Hardehardehar" only now has developed a personality.

Never before was there ever a personality that came through like a.. ah... human being or whatever we call ourselves?

Now all of a sudden when we bust him for the Huck campaign implant that he is.. he has a personality?!
And he responds to indirect references?
No that's unfunny.

Yet again Huck-a-wannabe Conservative plays dirty politics like a cheap politician? Excuse me for my total lack of surprise.

'Moderates' can vote for Huckabee or Clinton. Either way it wouldn't matter. Those 2 are birds of the same feather.

Laura,

Of the 18 arguments you laid out against Huckabee...only two proved to be semi correct

Gitmo and smoking ban.

Wow! Huckabee must be the WORST CANDIDATE EVER!!

He changed two positions during his 13.5 years years experience governing. Get a rope somebody!

Yeah I sorta did, Laura.

I have quit paying attention for the most part until your fight began.
I have accused him several times of being a Huck campaign implant, with absolutely no response. So I figure it's a best bet to play him like he is.

You know how I can slam'em and beat'em up in here.... well he is the only one that has no emotions, PERIOD.
None, zilch, squat, zero!

It's like a robot on energizer batteries. The funny thing is when I make comments that doesn't address him by name, like just mentioning the content of his comment and then rebutting it or making a sarcastic joke about his comments or Huck... you guessed it... he doesn't respond ever.
And if he does respond, it's merely to post another mess of lies and not to me directly.
That is the most tell tale sign to me that it is a campaign implant.

Wanna bet there is no Harald a/k/a hardeharhar? Ya think just maybe there's a laptop somewhere in Schmuckabee HQ for any Jesus Freak dipstick to log onto Hot Air any time so the Schmuck trolls can ransack this place?

I wonder, apart from vulgarity, what it takes to get banned from here. This clown's about as popular on HA as a pork chop in a mosque.

Mcguyver - oh, you're right about it being futile, at least where Harald is concerned. No question. Even if he's one person, an insomniac like me, and not a campaign plant, there's no question that he's not going to come back from the dark side. When Huck loses he'll blame it on the MSM conspiracy against Christians, I'm sure.

Your idea that he's several people from the campaign is interesting - I'm curious to know how many IP addresses he's using and to whom they're registered. Hillary's campaign got caught doing that on some lefty blog, it was hilarious. Still, I'm sure if that were going on, AP or Bryan would publicize it.

Hey, did you catch that he said the $500 million tax hike was "slight" ? Good grief...

Hey, did you catch that he said the $500 million tax hike was “slight” ? Good grief…

Geezus H. Huckachrist is a piece of chit that republicans better wake up to. Otherwise it's going to be President Hillary Clinton come November. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if it proves out that the moron is working for the Clintons as we speak. I've always known the republican party is weak and mostly without backbone but this is truly getting ridiculous.

Laura,

I admire you for trying. But it has been obvious to me from the day one that Hardehardehar (or whatever his name is) is an implant directly from the Huckabee campaign. He/her jumped in here when we had that great and long suffering grand reopening here at HotAir the other week and we knew that it was going to be hell to pay for it.

All the Huck fans in here that existed before that grand reopening do not respond like Harhar does.

Three (3) of them (Harhar is by far the worst and the most dogged about it all hours of the day and night, don't know when he sleeps) came in on that day.

The other two are popularpolitics and Huckfan, they too can be pretty bad, but it's obvious they are individuals on their own accord, because they peter out after a while and even they have lost their wind since.

Harhar however is definitely not just on his own accord.

Just seeing you battle with him has cemented my suspicions. He makes absolutely no sense!

The other reason I believe this is because even Rush Limbaugh was bombarded with Huck shills right around or prior to that day. Rush admitted and acknowledged it on the air. And after that Rush had no more such calls because my best guess is he simply refused all "campaign" callers.

The reason I know without a shadow of a doubt that Harhar is from the campaign itself is because it/he/her never sleeps. The only way that could be true is because the password is known to several or more operatives.

So I don't mean to tell you what to do or how to do it or discourage you from exposing the Huckster, I'm here to tell you it doesn't change the responses you're going to get from HardeHardeHar.

The Huck campaign has pulled out all the stops in this campaign. Nothing, absolutely nothing is going to stop them from chasing their dream of power.

In a way it's disheartening after thinking we have just gotten rid of power hungry politicians like the Clintonistas.

But alas.. the battle rages on. I don't expect this battle to end before I die, nor in my children or grandchildren's life span.

The biggest struggle we have is against ignorance. Like Rush says ignorance costs us more than anything else in this country.
It's the ignorant of this country that fall and have fallen for shenanigans like Huck.

Hence why Huck is against school vouchers, (duh...)!

If you click on my handle you'll see my analysis on the Huckabee aberration and the ignorant who voted for him in an open outcry situation in the Iowa caucus and how that tweaked his surge there.

My favorite quote(mine):
Mike Huckabee is the fusion reincarnation of Jimmy Baker and William "slick" Jefferson Clinton.

So sad but true.

I hope this helps.

...I’m not going to fisk your entire response (and so much of it was just a Kos-Kid style fact rejection anyway) but that one is representative of just how wrong you are.

Many thanks for taking on this chore. Now we can all ignore him.

Oh, what the heck, just one more, Harald.

- <strike>flip-flop on Gitmo</strike> always said Gitmo was too good for terrorists, never said bring them to USA

You're parsing again, Clinton-style. (Bill? Is that you?) No matter how non-responsive you are, Huckabee clearly and undeniably flipflopped on Gitmo.

">FLIP - June 11, 2007 - thought keeping Gitmo open was just nifty:

“It’s (Guantanamo) more symbolic than it is a substantive issue because people perceive of mistreatment when in fact there are extraordinary means being taken to make sure these detainees are being given really every consideration,” he said.

">FLOP - December 4, 2007 - thought closing Gitmo was just nifty:

Huckabee joined Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in declaring his opposition to the interrogation procedure known as “waterboarding,” and said he would support closing the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a contrast with the other leading Republicans.

::Laura prepares a thorazine injection for Harald, writes "total break with reality" in chart, looks for Huckabee Derangement Syndrome in DSMIV::

- <strike>leaving the Arkansas GOP in a shambles</strike> there was no GOP in AR before him

Other than the Lt. Governor, U.S. Senator, and 2 Republican Congressmen that were in office or took office when he took office, you mean?

I really hope that the people of South Carolina show their true conservative colors and put the Huckster and McVain in their place. BTW, did the Huckster go to the P.T. Barnum divinity school? By the way that he campaigns it would seem so.
