In terms of conservative issues? Pretty much true. If you’re going to whine about CFR in favor of Captain Amnesty, Sanctuary Rudy, the Huckster, or Government Doctor Romney, then yes, you’ll find Fred wins.

Basically if you like Origami, Fred is your man.

And the reason why John McCain could be out front while others were wringing their hands or were silent was and is that John McCain knows his stuff when it comes to military matters, national security and foreign affairs.

I’m disgusted with McCain on so many levels, but to say he’s non-conservative is disingenious. His failings are on particularily big issues, but along the political continuum, he would still be considered conservative.

No one beats Fred Thompson on any issue, ever. When 9/11 happened, Fred Thompson was busy reviving New York while Guiliani was putzing around. Fred Thompson turned around the Olympics. Fred Thompson knows God like the back of his hand and has more religious insight than Thomas Aquinas, nevermind Mike Huckabee.
