It’s hair-raising stuff: Britain’s MI-5 is apparently monitoring some 1500 British citizens and converts to Islam who misunderstood the “inner, personal struggle” meaning of jihad and are or have already trained to conduct attacks inside the UK. And they received their training inside the UK.
The tactic of using recent converts to Islam as frontline jihadists isn’t new. Al Qaeda has wanted to build an army of so-called “lily whites” — people who have no criminal record and don’t fit the South Asian or Arab profile of Muslims — for years. The German plot against US bases that was foiled last fall involved German converts working with a Turkish national.
Over 1500 such misunderstanders of jihad could do an awful lot of damage.

Racial profiling shouldn’t be the only kind of profiling, to be sure. But it should be one kind of profiling. Yes, there are blond, blue-eyed terrorists. But most terrorists are Arabs, Persians and Pakistanis. (Sorry, but that’s the truth.)

There’s a huge controversy goig on in Austria now, a minister or some important lady, running for post, said something to the effect that Muhammed married a 6 year old girl, and by today’s standards that w/b child molestation. Honestly this is just a bit silly. It’s not exactly Tora Bora round here. Many inner city urban areas are pretty bad and I wouldn’t like to hang around them for more than 5 minutes but you know what? I or any tourist have no reason to!
Come and see the tourist sights of London for a couple of days (Although the bad areas of London are pretty much as bad as the UK gets) but then see the real England and UK. Look into any of the national park areas such as the Lake, Peak Districts, Cornwall, Devon, Northumberland plus many other areas. You’ll thank me for it ;-)
