And by the way.. the video is hilarious.

Was this recorded for the season finale of ‘Heroes’?

Chubby and off his meds. I bet he’s single, girls!

I give up, who is this unmitigated lunatic?

Which Magrathean ark would Alex Jones be on, exactly?

Please remove violent and offensive YouTube ads … then again, don’t bother

Point being, it’s not good for RP’s campaign for us to look like psycho nutcases. We need to appear respectable. – Dunadan

Haha.. now that’s funny.

btw, here is what Paul’s former aide said of the newsletters.

http://thirdpartywatch.com/2008/01/10/ron-paul-to-address-race-issues-on-cnn/#comment-427989

Here are the cold hard facts:

Who wrote the Newsletters?

Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell. From what I witnessed in my 12 years working for Ron, I’d say maybe 40% came from him in the way of scribbles (and I literally do mean scribbles) on a yellow pad, that was then faxed to his office staff in South Houston for editing and publication.

I’d estimate that the rest – 50 to 60% was written by Lew. But when I say Lew I also mean his staff of Interns, which during that period included most prominently Jeff Tucker and Mark Thornton of Auburn Univ. in Alabama.

It was my general impression that Thornton wrote the bulk of the heavy economic stuff, Tucker the political stuff, Lew crime and race relations, Ron Paul anti-Israel/foreign policy.

As to the Production Team:

In the 1980s Nadia Hayes was Newsletter Publisher. Her assistant was Jean McCiver. Both lived in South Houston/Clear Lake area. The office was located on 1120 Nasa Rd. 1, Suite 1 (catty-corner from the NASA Space Center.)

The Newsletter itself was produced and printed by Marc Elam, Ron’s longtime Campaign Manager, out of Elam’s office on Fuqua, South Houston, very close to Hobby Airport.

Hayes was forced to resign in an Embezzlement scandal in late 1988 involving the Investment Newsletter and Ron Paul’s other business and political enterprises.

McIver then took over. She was assisted by David Mertz, better known as David James, a close friend and associate of current Ron Paul Campaign Co-Campaign Manager Kent Snyder. Both Snyder and James currently live in Northern, VA, Falls Church area.

For the period in question, early 1990s, post Nadia Hayes, David James, Jean McIver and Marc Elam were the entire Production Team and Editors of the Newsletters.

Lew Rockwell was more of a Contributing writer, and less Editor. But his writing, as I said before, constituted approx. 50 to 60% of the Newsletters.

All of this is general knowledge known by all Ron Paul campaign and Congressional staffers. There are numerous individuals who can be contacted to confirm these facts, both present and employees of Ron Paul.

They can also be confirmed by Houston-area libertarians and Ron Paul activists.

If Paul was a normal republican, he’d be run out of the country by now by media.

jp on January 14, 2008 at 8:10 PM

Hey, he’s talking to me. I’m from the future. Too bad Ron Paul got blown out in the primaries back in to 2008 elections, eh? Maybe then he wouldn’t have started that crazy religion that forces it’s followers to trade in all of their worldly possessions for kruegerrands…right before the great gold crash of 2013. He’d probably still be alive today…

Fruitcake or profiteer with no morals?

jp on January 14, 2008 at 8:13 PM

Yes, there are those who came before you, and when you are gone no one will remember you.

I live in Austin with this man and he makes me sick. I see how he twists the minds of this cities young. He builds a life support system on the backs of the young causing them to think that they have discovered something that everyone else has missed, so they have the upper hand, and for that they money his direction.

I have learned this about power. Those who have it will do anything to protect it. If this psycho was actually on to anything, he would have been worm food long, long ago. He is not alive because he is so smart, he is alive because the only demons that has to fear are in his head.

Fred!

RobertInAustin on January 14, 2008 at 8:14 PM

…and, on a similar note…

…imagine my surprise when I pulled up in my son’s driveway last month, right behind his shiny, new Pontiac, with a “Ron Paul for President” bumper sticker placed prominently on the back. His daddy and I are so proud. ***sniffle***

Whole lot of ‘what ifs’ and ‘You really need to go to this guy’s site’…and what little I’ve paid attention to him, he’s always toed the line on the classic Truther ploy of ‘Prove it didn’t happen that way’…but this…WOW..

Good Lord….he is completely INSANE!!!

That was surreal.

RobertInAustin,

Thanks for the info on Jones. Kind of reminds me of a similar fellow, he was a professor in the liberal city of Chicago, who made all these conspiracy theories about old books and corrupted the youth of the city and changed their religious beliefs. Can you believe he turned them atheist, but taught them to exploit religion for their own ends? Unfortunately not everybody are as on to his minions as they are on to Jones. We must keep exposing these brainwashers.

jp on January 14, 2008 at 8:27 PM

This is what I call the Victimization” ideologue that is sweaping America. I see all those shrill hucksters spinning the tail that your the victim because you dont stand up to the unseen threat that they have seen even if you havent.

Its this nut and Noam Choamski and Hillary Clinton and Obama and many liberals who want to make people into “victims to herd them down a path of ideologue. And politicians like Ron Paul and to a less extend Huckabee who are “defenders” of the victims who will “Fight” for the little guy IF only you give them power to do it.

It is truely a messianic complex at work. How they are the “Savior” of humanity that reaches an almost cult like following. Because your a “victim” if you dont buy into the propaganda.

And what gets me most of all is the synaptic disconnect where their one brain cell doesnt talk to their only other brain cell. For instance they warn of “Dont buy into their fear mongering about an Islamic threat when the real threat is them.” They demonize fellow americans for simply disagreeing with them. Your evil or deluded or part of the conspiracy or racist or sexest if you dont agree with them. Because you oppress the true “Victims” who they are defending only because they want the power.

I want to spew every time I hear the victim crap comming from these people.

William Amos on January 14, 2008 at 8:29 PM

Alex Jones believes the Illuminati, controlled largely by Jews, will eliminate about 80% of the world’s population in the near future and then split up the remaining people and countries of the world in a world government with them running the world. The Illuminati meet in secret meetings disguised as the CFR, Bildeburger Group, etc.

From what I can tell, Ron Paul believes in a lot of this.

bnelson44 on January 14, 2008 at 8:31 PM

William Amos,

Don’t forget, you’re also anti-semitic if they don’t agree with you.

Alex Jones makes money by selling stuff like DVDs. A recent DVD of his called “End Game”- ALEX JONES, ILLUMINATI, NEW WORLD ORDER, NORTH AMERICAN UNION, 911 has a scene in it with Ron Paul being interviewed and saying that the old president Bush is working for a North American Union and inferred that Bush didn’t believe that national security was important.

Alex Jones is dangerous in that he knows how to wieve truths and lies together to rewrite history. It is an art that the better propagandists know. He is an excellent propagandist. I am almost convinced that Ron Paul is a disciple. If you read or watch his stuff, you can hear the echos of what Ron Paul preaches. What is really sad is that our youth are falling for this propaganda (like the youth of the 30s fell for Fascism).

Bnelson44

“inferred that Bush didn’t believe that national security was important.”

Can someone be for open borders and actually care about national security? If terrorists infiltrating this country are what is the main threat, how can you be for national security if you want to let them pour in? All Bush shows is that he is pro war, pro democracy spreading, pro elimination of warrants, but if you do not want to defend the borders I do not see how the argument can be made that you really care about national security if you are willing to risk it for corporate profits.

Or maybe they just need people to build Washington DC. Buildings go up like crazy, with expansion of the size and scope of government. DC is a chocolate city with plenty of manual laborers, but most of the construction workers speak spanish.

MarkoMancuso on January 14, 2008 at 9:40 PM

doriangrey,

No, I was trying to establish a premise. Can one truly care about national security and be pro open borders? He comments a lot on here but I was just trying to see what exactly he believes. What do you believe on the matter?

National security is a whole that is made up of parts, not homogeneous parts like gold, but dissimilar parts like a human face. I think that being against open borders is a big part of that whole and that one cannot be pro open borders and actually care about national security. That doesn’t mean they want destruction, it just apparently requires more stringent, some would say illegal, methods to make up for that huge problem they won’t and don’t want to deal with for some reason.

LevStrauss on January 14, 2008 at 9:43 PM

If the answer is no…Then you go ape$hit with well X supported open borders so how could you believe they care about America’s national security.

Sorry, I don’t believe you, your question is disingenuous and leading and I have no intention of allowing you to play me like a violin.

I think this is the best description of Jones, Paul and that strange intersection that is their followers.

Diagnostic Criteria:
has a grandiose sense of self-importance

is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by other special people
requires excessive admiration

strong sense of entitlement

takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

lacks empathy

is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her

arrogant behavior
