but perhaps you could explain what difference there would be if I did vote for Cigarman’s shrew instead of Huckawannabe.

This debate and discussion will end if you never respond to the Huck trolls.

They'll learn quick that it's no fun to talk to themselves.

If Huckabee wins the nomination you don’t even have to worry about showing up. The Democrats will win the Presidency by a landslide.

henzou on January 13, 2008 at 10:10 PM

That too is true even if Huck-a-wannabe conservative wins the presidency.

Huckabee is the only candidate who will draw away the millions and millions of independents and democrats who hate Hillary and find Huckabee to be refreshingly honest and genuine!

Almost every democrat I’ve talked to says they hate Hillary and would vote for Huckabee if he opposed her!

Even Hillary supporters admit he is a good man!

Balderdash and poppycock! I might believe that the Cigarman's shrew supporters think Huck-a-wannabe-conservative is the male version of her but your story is most certainly pure fiction.

Are you aware of the startling difference between Mike Huckabee and Hillary Clinton!

Are you aware of the drastically different directions they would take this country in.....and how a Hillary presidency now would damage this country irreparably?

I so totally HATE her so much, I tried watching Russert this morning but as soon as she came on, I was just overwhelmed with so much revulsion all I could do was say "MUST AVERT EYES" and click the remote to another channel.

Glad to hear from you folks he actually made her squirm some, and that he refused to go easy on her. Whatta concept, a liberal journalist on a liberal network who actually tightens the thumbscrews on the liberal queen without hesistation. Who'd of thunk. Russert appears to really have some stones. Pretty courageous to challenge her given who he works for...UNLESS his management has already collectively decided they're Obama people. Maybe that explains it.

Sounds like his handling was sure better than Lambchop Blitzer, who always gives her a pass regardless.

So it would be the republicans that would force a Hildebeast presidency upon us??

I don't think so.... they'll complain about it now but when it comes down to it... they're all talk

Harald,

You assume I have any interest in debating you. I do not; I speak only to what is obvious from reading your words. You lie about biofuels costing less in energy inputs than oil; you lie about Huckabee's record on immigration, you lie about Huckabee with regard to business. "The most pro-business candidate out there"??? Please. At least try for something believable. This is the same man, for example, who referred to the Club for Growth as the "Club For Greed, and attacked Romney (AND played the class warfare card" with his line about "the guy who laid you off."

Huckabee is no conservative, and what I can't figure out is whether you are boosting him because you truly support him, or because you think he is the Republican candidate that your Dem candidate of choice can most easily defeat.

Either way, it doesn't matter; your statements bear so little resemblance to reality that we can all reasonably hold those Untruths to be entirely self-evident.

Hahahahah, Edwards said:

“I fundamentally disagree with that. Those who believe that real change starts with Washington politicians have been in Washington too long and are living a fairytale.”

Did he go on to say the following - "So, if you want change, elect me as the number 1 Washington politician" ? Lol, what a retard. The Dems (and even GOP) are pushing this whole "change" nonsense, and want to be elected President (i.e. the biggest Washington politician you can be) to bring "change"... Yet he comes out to say that Washington politicians don't start change? WTF? Then again, he's the moron who has convinced a bunch of far lefties that he's the most anti-war guy in the bunch... when in the 2004 primaries he was THE pro-war Democrat who told Chris Matthews that he'd have acted exactly as Bush did at the UN and on invading Iraq. Man is he scum.

He genuinely seems like a good man, but unfortunately I completely disagree with you on his electibility. Your problem is exactly what you said.. democrats like him. Why? His liberal record. I want substance, not avoiding serious questions with whitty comments.

I don't know who you've talked to, but many of my conservative friends would stay home if he were the Republican candidate. Unfortunately his track record does not excite a CONSERVATIVE base. He may be a hell of a democratic candidate, though.

This coming from an old Huck supporter (and shamefully, donor). I've done my homework on him since. He's a funny guy.. he has a great personality.. but he's not a conservative. At least his track record says he hasn't been.. and what else do we have to go by?

Hillary also used the MTP interview to claim credit for the success of the troop surge in Iraq. You know, the one that she opposed the whole time.

It's ironic that her take on the surge success is taking the surge out altogether. Maybe it is good for the Iraq government to be scared that security will be taken from them if they don't get their act together.

But the link that gateway pundit shows
has Clinton (D-NY) as 'Yea', so doesn't that mean she did support it here? Am I missing something?

IF Huck-a-wannabee-conservative wins the republican nomination then I’ll be staying home on election night, but perhaps you could explain what difference there would be if I did vote for Cigarman’s shrew instead of Huckawannabe. I personally see no difference at all. He’ll jump at the chance to raise taxes, pass the damnable ILLEGAL Alien Amnesty bill, and spend much of his time kissing up to the worst politicians the godless liberals have to offer.

If Huckabee wins the nomination you don't even have to worry about showing up. The Democrats will win the Presidency by a landslide.

Reagan raised taxes in california by a billion dollars it would amount to 10 billion today but yet we all agree he was the best president ever!

That's a valid point. Unfortunately Reagan has a track record of becoming the Reagan we remember. Huckabee only has the promise that he WILL be like Reagan. I don't believe it. Especially as much as he's been dogging the American pharmaceutical and oil companies. I obviously believe something has to be done in those two areas, but he sounds like a liberal when he speaks on those issues.

I live in Los Angeles.... I do NOT want amnesty.

Los Angeles is perhaps the only U.S. city with 10 million illegal aliens or more!

And before you say anything about Huckabee signing a "no tax" agreement or talk about his newly found political views (ironic timing).. I'm saying that based upon his PAST RECORD. Which is a pretty solid indicator for the future.

As the great Ronald Reagan would say: "Facts are stubborn things."

Reagan: Tax Cutter
Huckabee: Taxer

Reagan: Free Trader
Huckabee: Anything but

Reagan: Cut income tax rates
Huckabee: Favors flawed tax idea

Reagan: Fought entire life against Soviet Union
Huckabee: Which way is the wind blowing?

Reagan: Views known and fought for for years
Huckabee: National/foreign views unknown -- running away from his past views

And Reagan as a religious fanatic lunatic?

Reagan: Openly casual churchgoer
Huckabee: Former Baptist minister trying to win over the Evangelical conservative base through his faith.

Huckabee is the most pro business candidate out there.

He's actually proposing to get rid of the many layers of anti competitive bureacracy, the IRS, tax lobbyists and the socialist income tax altogether.

Mike Huckabee is a believer in supply side economics which is a proven concept.

But I disagree about Reagans focal point. I say it was his very vocal faith that was what brought us as a nation through the cold war and mobilized democrats to become republicans.

henzou, Gianni... givei t up. Harald has already shown no scruples with regard to the truth; at this point you are mud-wrestling with a pig ("you just get dirty and the pig likes it.") I have no idea what Harald's agenda is, and I don't really care. When someone lies as consistently as this one has, it becomes clear that debate is pointless.
