None of you are really cheering for free speech. You’re cheering for speech that you find “cool” in a grade school sort of way.

It’s stupid. Sort of an MTV version of the free expression that defines true civilization.

Plus, as someone above pointed out, the real test is when we’re faced with the Ernst Zündel’s and Ward Churchill’s of the world, not guys like Ezra, who are just pandering to a hateful audience and then claiming martyrdom at the hands of the mainstream.

I am not sure I saw the same clip because that is not the point I got. The point is that free protected speach can offend. Not that it was his intent to offend, but that if it was he still has the right to publish what he did. He is right.
I thought political correctness was bad but what is happening now with things like this and the libel suits is frightening.

I’ll wager that the next one will be so closed that Ezra Levant won’t even be allowed to attend. They don’t really need his testimony anyway.

Churchill is not being prevented from speaking his poison either, his last article was published at lefturn.o-g on June 16 of last year and has a new book coming out (if it hasn’t come out already).

Liberty is a muscle that must be exercised regularly. Ezra does. But so many of us take the 1st Amendment for granted; free speech has become an option that we mostly choose to waive for the sake of getting along, not rocking the boat, not hurting somebody’s feelings. But in doing so, we are already halfway to slavery. OK, we mouth off here, where it’s safe, but it’s out there in the real world where we have to stand up and be real, stuck sideways up the butt jerks for Liberty.

How many tribunals, commissions, boards and/or interrogations was Churchill put through? Answer: none. Churchill was fired by his empolyer for falsifying his resume and other wrong doings (i.e. plagiarism).

Zündel was arrested in this country for overstaying his visa (something more people should be arrested on) he was deported from Canada because he’d left the country for too long and was no longer considered a permanent resident. He was arrested in Germany for violating anti-Nazi laws and inciting a riot.

In your pompous adolescent attempt to condemn the people on this thread for standing by a man who is being attacked for excercising his God given right to free speach, by picking two people you think no one would stand up for, you over looked two things. One: Zündel’s website is still up and running — the last post on it is dated Dec. 16 — therefore no one is preventing him from expressing himself. Two: Churchill is not being prevented from speaking his poison either, his last article was published at lefturn.o-g on June 16 of last year and has a new book coming out (if it hasn’t come out already).

This was a good clip to watch. I regret I waited so long to watch it. Unbelievable. I am sure the woman asking the questions, as quiet and innocent as she presented, thinks herself ever so caring, reasonable, fair and compassionate, so certain her work is for the good of the order. Sickening.

This is my first comment as a newbie: It was heartening to see that there are some actual brass “spheres” remaining in our much neutered northern neighbors. While we continually gag down the many hateful expressions against Christianity that come down the pike on a daily basis, these slave owning pedophiles from a “civilization” that still thinks wiping one’s self with the left hand is superior to toilet paper have made us criminals in our own house if we dare say/speak/write/draw anything that they deem to be offensive. It is quite alright for them to fully exercise their heinous cult at the expense of all who unfortunately find themselves under it’s political power but let one of us bacon eating infidels say something that casts their cult in an accurate light… Well, I really hope that more people wake up before it is too late. I’m writing now from the land of two rivers. They never made it past the dark ages here. That’s the gospel truth.
