Ahh, crappy Baghdad winter weather. I remember Christmas Eve, 2004, sitting in a tower overlooking a detainee camp with the rain coming in sideways, somehow, so that even being in the exact middle of the tower I was getting wet. And then cold, ’cause it was 42 degrees. Merry frakking Christmas to me. Snow would’ve just been the icing on the cake.

Rising levels of carbon dioxide from the evil corporations and Republican SUVs melted the ice caps, killed all the polar bears and penguins (even the cute ones in that movie a few months ago), flooded coastal areas in a way that only inflicted loss upon women, children and people of color, eliminated twenty species of butterflies, created huge oil revenues for BushHitlerCheneyHalliburton and has now caused climatic-shifts-of-doom(tm). Aka, snow in Baghdad.
