Iowas economic base is farming but the “family farm” has been a myth for over 100 years. new hampshire is full of people who have moved there in the last 20 years from new york and connecticut and michigan is a union state that elects one lousy democrat administration after another and can only blame itself for it’s economic troubles.

By the way, more independants voted on the republican side in iowa and new hampshire then actual republicans. Every “independent” I’ve ever met was more of a raving liberal then any declared democrat I know. When you call a nut job a democrat they whip out the voter registration card that says independent but you can bet the house they have never voted for a republican.
