As facts, such as the one’s stated above, continue to come out, Huck will lose the momentum he has enjoyed thusfar. Conservatives do not forget as easily as the “mushy headed Dims”. I predict momentum growing for Fred in the southern states. Mitt should be paying close attention here…Romney/Thompson? One can only pray…..(PS I did predict Shrillary’s loss in Iowa, as well as the close one in NH.) Mybe I should be tested for psycic abilities :)

Just what is it to you that defines a conservative? It is true that Huckabee is pro-life and that is very good but his past reveals a liberal agenda.

1) 1000+ pardons for convicts.
2) Higher taxes.
3) Appointing liberals in his cabinet.
To name a few.

Please explain how supporting these items makes him conservative.

The majority of the people supporting Huck are Evangelicals who think because he use to be a minister that he is automatically a good guy. Too bad that isn’t true.

True. Unfortunately evangelicalism has been redefined over the decades and not by scripture. Plus, many old-time evangelicals are being hoodwinked by Huckabee. I once was naive to think that anyone who claimed the name of Christ believed that God’s word was the ultimate authority (in faith and morals, not government).

God has been gracious enough to reveal to me that this is not the case.

Okay. But I was speaking of Huckabee, Clinton, and Carter, who ARE.

Do you consider not being Southern Baptist relevant to why you’re for Giuliani?

Anyway, my point is just that Huckabee, Clinton, and Carter claiming to be Southern Baptist means that claiming to be a Baptist is less significant than it used to be. Which I think is still true, whether you’re Southern Baptist, Northern Baptist, Missionary Baptist, etc.

The more people see and hear Huck, the better he will do. The people that don’t like him are the ones that read Hotair, NRO’s The Corner, The Weekly Standard, etc. In other words, people that can’t think and research.

I try to be tolerant of such people. It’s those who can’t tell the difference between a conservative and a liberal that kind of bother me.

Of course, one common characteristic of a liberal is the attempt to fool people into thinking you’re conservative. It takes independent thinking to see through the deception.
