While we await news and results from New Hampshire, here’s a little comedy. Topics include Mitt Romney vs. Mike Huckabee, Hillary Clinton’s new campaign strategy, and illegal aliens as “Texans of the Year.” That last one created a little blowback for the Dallas Morning News which discovered, much to its surprise, that people actually care about illegal immigration. They also care about naming non-Texans as “Texans of the Year.” Who says the MSM is out of touch?

The writer’s strike lingers on, I guess.
Worst. Laughtrack. Ever.
snickelfritz on January 8, 2008 at 10:19 AM
That was almost funny.

hey bryan, will you be seeing the midafternoon exits? will you be posting them?
The tv media arent allowed to report them in theory. Brit hume confirmed mid afternoon exits and that fox will not be reporting.

Jodi Miller is a hottie.
And funny too.
Best bit: the last one on the 700 club. Bwahahaha…
Always Right on January 8, 2008 at 10:22 AM

As always, funny stuff. At least this is still around after the untimely cancellation of the always-hilarious ‘1/2 Hour News Hour.’
The Hillary and 700 Club jokes were definitely the best.
American_Pride1701 on January 8, 2008 at 10:32 AM
Bad Bryan! Not… funny… enough [except for the 700 Club remark, which earned a chuckle]. Come on, being this early in the morning on another fun-filled primary day, I really need something to perk me up. Actually, I’ll probably just go watch the Azeroth “Paulites” again… that was pretty amusing.

Hillary part was great.

That’s almost as funny as the 1/2 Hour News Hour, and that ain’t a compliment.
SouthernDem on January 8, 2008 at 10:55 AM
I want to like these NewsBusted! video’s. I try and give courtesy laughs so I will maybe start to really laugh after a while. I never do.

OK, I learned. “Read the comments first.”
That was 2+ minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

Were I in the, um, studio audience, I’m sure I would have made myself laugh. Yes, I’m that shallow.

She needs a humpbot. Not that I didn’t enjoy the piece.

I read Newsbusters everday. I love the faux news casts. I personally find them funny.
As for the laugh track, I think it is intended to be campy.

Reminded me of how much I miss the old Hot Air and the Vent .
doufree on January 8, 2008 at 1:06 PM
Still trying to find teh funneh, I see.
Lose the anchor. Way too much time spent shimmying and mugging.
MikeZero on January 8, 2008 at 1:23 PM
I like Jodi Miller, but she absolutely SLAUGHTERED the Fox joke. Euch.
Merovign on January 8, 2008 at 2:23 PM
It was funny. Y’all rippin on it don’t know comedy, being so stuck on drama. It was light,it was sharp,it was fine. Wit needn’t be wielded like a sledgehammer; Gallagher retired, right?
Doug on January 8, 2008 at 2:29 PM
My sentiments exactly. Nowadays most energy is spent hacking at nonsense on a hijacked, runaway site of vitriol the likes of the KosKids.
This parody isn’t that great, but it’s not bad, either. Give ‘em a break for at least trying, which is more than most do who sit around and criticize when they won’t even get off the couch and try…
Oh, I remember when we had a sense of pride here. Now it’s mostly “bash this” and “ridicule that”…
Real talent…
nationspatriotcom on January 8, 2008 at 2:44 PM
this makes me uncomfortable…
Richard Bushnell on January 8, 2008 at 3:54 PM
OK, it was silly. But this was still mad witty:
inviolet on January 8, 2008 at 5:34 PM
This is not funny. Not now. Not ever.
Its embarrassing. They should take it off.
I hate it.
“now tell me how you REALLY feel”?: I also think it sucks.
that one line was kinda cute though. but still
Drunk Report on January 8, 2008 at 5:35 PM
I laughed at some of it, but not all. I give them credit for trying although not everyone can be a paulnut.
