I think Obama is a racist, and I base that opinion on the racist belief system of the church where he is a willing and active member, “blackness” being a part of the Christian canon that I somehow missed in my studies in the Bible. But he says he’s a Christian and belongs to an otherwise Christian church, so constantly claiming that he’s a Muslim is kind of stupid, imo. See above.

I didn’t know that islam is a race…thank you for informing me. How about I call him a commie? Is that also a race according to you?

First, look at Congress and spending under Clinton. Then look at Bush. The difference here was how the Republican members acted.

Under Clinton, they fought party politics and reined in spending. Under Bush, the supported the party President and ramped up spending.

Note that Democrats will support higher spending under a President for either party.

Both Huckabee and Obama want more spending, we’re agreed. But who can actually get the spending past Congress? Only Huckabee can raise spending at rates that match or exceed the record level 2000-2008 spending increases.

Now, you can believe that Huckabee will somehow get the 16th Amendment repealed and pass the FairTax deal. His first step will be to join Congress so he can actually propose an Amendment to the Constitution I’m guessing.

Then, does he try for the Marriage Amendment first, or FairTax first, or the Human Life Amendment? Seriously, is there anything else about the Constitution he’d like to change? Why not claim he’ll get a complete rewrite while he’s at it?

Second, Huckabee is the only one who can beat Obama? There’s a panic stricken worldview. Huckabee cannot even keep the Republican big tent from splitting down the middle, much less hold the line and pick up votes. He couldn’t beat an unnamed Democrat.

Sorry, I’m going to take Huckabee’s record over his current rhetoric. He raised taxes significantly, he raised spending significantly, he promotes Federal control over numerous issues big and small (Abortion, smoking, diet, exercise, health care) and believes in a Federal “one size fits all” solution to many problems.

He has a history of “listening to his heart” and ignoring reason. Working for support to pardon an unrepentant murderer who killed and raped his girlfriend (in that order) seems questionable judgment.

He apparently can pull in the Social Conservatives, but the Fiscal Conservatives get nothing from him but talk. And any read of his past actions shows that he’s clearly not a friend of Fiscal Conservatism, or Federalism, or public security.

And you’re slander of Obama, calling him a Muslim over and over again isn’t really useful. Trying to engender racism and bigotry to promote support, although common for Huckabee supporters, isn’t really a worthwhile proposition.

But keep trying. Show your racist stripes, whine about people attacking Christianity (which you’ll note, I didn’t mention, but I’m sure you’ll claim I did anyhow) and promote Huck’s rhetoric over his actions.

And if he wins, then America truly deserves him.

For those opposed to Huckabee now, here are a couple of facts about him that you might not know…there are many many Christians who are uninformed and vote dem..Huckabee will get them due to constant media attacks on Christianity during the race for the general election and due to Hussein O’s speeches declaring that America is no longer a Christian nation and that we are a muslim nation now and due to his other speeches such as “Christianity got hijacked”. For all the rest look at the contrasts between the two… Obama: raise taxes drastically! Huck: signed no tax raise pledge and proposes getting rid of the socialist income tax and with it 65% of lobbyists and many freedom impeding gov’t programs such as IRS. Obama: surrender immediately to his muslim friends. Huck: win the GWOT,never surrender and remain the most powerful military in the world. Obama: socialist medicine Huckabee: free market health care solutions. Obama: respect the UN move towards one world gov’t. Huckabee: do not surrender America’s sovereignty on any conditions. Obama: open up the borders give amnesty to illegal aliens allow them to bring in all non english speaking family members to vote dem. Huckabee: Secure border, no amnesty, enact employer verification system. And still some of the folks here say they would vote for Hussein Obama our first muslim president.

It’s nice to talk about “vertical leadership” and wanting to stop the polarization and paralysis of washington. But what are your plans?

Like someone said earlier, and quite rightly so, the evangelicals eyes glaze over whenever they are confronted with the facts about Huck.

“NEWS FLASH! Hillary in dead last after 0.0002% of the votes have been tallied! Does this spell the end of her campaign? Will she run as a 3rd party candidate? More at the top of the hour.”

The media sure has pushed this election to the point of being ridiculous. Let me know when there is actually something to report!
