Videos: Bill says he can’t make Hillary “younger, taller, male”
posted at 1:30 pm on January 7, 2008 by Bryan
Or dynamic, interesting, less menacing or palatable. Like Allah says, all this Clinton jujitsu is calculated to the end. In this case, Bill edges up to mentioning a fourth variable that might be working in Obama’s favor but doesn’t go there. Mentally, surely some in the crowd did though.
*Sorry about the sync on the clip.

I doubt, if given the chance, slick willie would change her into a man. Don’t believe his boat floats that way. But who knows this does seem to be the season of “change”.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Clinton marriage survives if Hillary’s presidential ambitions are not realized.

Nice strong gestures, Hill. Give that woman a baton and let her conduct an orchestra. Of course, since she wants to remake America into her socialist image, starting with health care, conducting an orchestra would probably not be enough to satisfy her desire to control others.
Bigfoot on January 7, 2008 at 1:52 PM
Making her male would probably make her more attractive.

FLcapitalistthug on January 7, 2008 at 2:04 PM
I think Bill might actually want Hillary to fail. What guy (especially one with Clinton’s ego) wants to risk being upstaged by his wife? This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bill being passive/aggressive towards Hillary. Isn’t he really saying here that he can’t make Hillary be Bill Clinton, the superior Clinton (in his view), and that’s why her campaign is in so much trouble?
AZCoyote on January 7, 2008 at 2:05 PM
In a better world, universal health insurance would cover her female to male surgery. That’s why Madeline Albright could only go half way.

Hmm, so then which one is the man, and which one is the woman? And did we already have the first black woman president in the 90s, and not realize it?

I’ve suspected this for a while. What else explains Dick Morris’ friendship with Bill, and hatred for Hillary? Is Bill getting her back for something?

JiangxiDad on January 7, 2008 at 2:13 PM
Good point, but I think Bill would love nothing more than to reside at the White House again. He thinks he’s the smarter of the two, and that he can manipulate her – in essence, he’d be in the spotlight as the first man (or whatever the hell he’d be), and pulling the strings.
Rick on January 7, 2008 at 2:14 PM
Can he make her most honest?
that would probably work just fine.

Are you kidden mee! Spade work! Sharpton will be picketing her offices in New Hampshire on election day, no? Why not?
Why not some Imusgate for Hillary? Doesn’t an obvious injection of race by a white woman deserve Sharptonization.
Bill may not be able to make Hill male but you can rest assured that her pee pee envy has caused her to curse her Dads use of an X chromosome in her manufacture, over.and.over.
Perhaps it was resentment that sent her over to the dark side, I’m you Father, No,no,nooooo.

Billy Clinton is becoming the Billy Carter of this family. He would never so anything useful like brew beer, though.

True Billy, you can’t make her younger or taller. But she’ll always be more of a man than you are.

Inevitable, to pull out and endorse her rival and hope for a VP nod.
koolbrease on January 7, 2008 at 3:02 PM
So let me get this straight.
We’ve got two people campaigning full time for one candidate.
One is former President and most popular democrat in a long time. I’m going to make a crazy assumption and say that he is drawing larger crowds than his wife during the campaign.
The other is the actual candidate who admits being tired and starts to cry when the pressure is getting to her (someone please tell me why I want this person making decisions during a time of war?).
Popularity can take you pretty far (it got her elected to congress without any experience), but I believe that people on both sides view this election as very personal and important.
I think she’s done.

Ahh… you beat me to it!

Eight years younger than me (I’m 32) and two inches taller. Bright eyes, soft hair, perfect curves and seductive expression. And, while she looks like a model, she’s actually a brilliant Byzantinist. (We met at Oxford.)
I passed up earlier chances to marry; this one was well worth the wait!

Yes, Hillary is tanking, that is not good news because the media is now in an ecstatic orgy of PC love for Obama, who’s even a bigger inexperienced fraud than she is.
Conservatives need to see the bigger battle than is forming with the MSM – Obama-mania. This may force a McCain candidacy onto us, with all the “experience” issues.
McCain is as RINO as they come, and true conservatives hate his guts. He is a political hack, leftish on many issues, a Democratic party buttkisser of the worst kind, insincere and untrustworthy on immigration and free-speech issues, and a Global Warming scamster. I won’t mention the “Keating Five” issue, but the MSM sure as hell will. And what about all the recent baldfaced lies about his non-”Amnesty” Amnesty bill?
McCain is the Bob Dole of this election cycle, and remember – a younger, more attractive (albeit blazingly inexperienced) candidate simply cleaned Dole’s ancient RINO clock. In 1996, WWII was almost as far in the past as the fading 1960′s Vietnam War will be at the end of this next presidential term. To most under-40 voters, Vietnam is now a growing tourist attraction, not My Lai or Khe Sang.
Dole got absolutely no traction from his magnificent wartime heroism versus a draft dodging younger man with no visible heroism of any kind and already a reputation for lying and groping women. It was pathetic.
Question – will Obama’s wife be running in 2024?

I have three major priorities for the next POTUS:
1. Secure the SCOTUS.
2. Secure the Border.
3. Secure the Nation.
Funny how they all seem related, eh?
Fred is my first choice, warts and all. But given the need to secure the SCOTUS before it falls under leftist domination for the next generation, I’m starting to wonder if McCain, RINO that he is, might not be the better choice against Obama. I trust him to give me #3, and probably #1 even if he’s against me on #2.
Which begs the question: Dare we submit a true conservative against Obama? Or should we view this as a triage situation and cut our losses?

The problem is that Bill fails to realize that we don’t need her to be younger, taller, or male. None of these things matter in the end. All he did was pick three things that he knows can’t be changed, regardless, to try to show how little control they have over the situation. It makes her a victim and gives people the opportunity to feel sorry for her. Had he chosen three qualities, any three out of the many listed: likeable, palatable, honest, charismatic, dynamic, interesting, effective, etc., that she herself caused, then that would show that she did this to herself. That she is her own problem. She chose to be the way she is and chose to exploit every bit of whatever she could to get where she wants to be.
It’s a lot harder to blame someone for something beyond their control, like their genetic makeup, than for character traits. They know this. They will try to use this. I don’t think it’s working too well.
