Since I’m on Linux, I didn’t get see the pig end his passport, which is just probably saved me from wasting a minute of my life.
I just sent an email to MEMRI asking that they use another format instead of Windows Media Player for these clips. They are missing out of some important audiences in using a Linux-unfriendly format.
Maybe so other HotAir readers would also consider emailing MEMRI about this issue?

The first couple of paragraphs of Gadahn’s (Pearlman’s) Wiki bio is very informative. The connection between nutjob liberalism and his affinity for and slide into another extreme ideology, islamofascism, is plain to see. Just like some kids try to escape/survive urban ghetto pathology by joining gangs, people raised like Pearlman succumb to the pathology of liberalism as well. Wasn’t my point. Was wondering if the US State dep’t revokes the passport/citizenship of traitors. My guess is that they don’t.
But as you said, I suppose as well that the FBI and Interpol aren’t as open-minded.

The State Dept does not have the power to revoke anyone’s citizenship. A passport is simply identification papers, all they do is identify someone, they are not a permit to go anywhere.

You can use the mplayer plugin fo firefox. When you get the page that states you need windows media player, click on the link “Or click here to view the content directly in your Windows Media Player.” It will play fine in a new tab

Re. Revoking citizenship. Was lazy and didn’t do my HW. Don’t know the full process.
Re. Passport. An Am. passport is an extremely valuable document, and facilitates, if not actually “permits”, a lot of things, including travel from one place to another.
I would hope that US passports belonging to dangerous people are revoked by the state dep’t, but again, I wouldn’t bet my house on it.

Yes, a US Passport shows that you are a citizen of the US and allows you to come back into the US. If a country permits you to travel because you have a US passport that is up to the country. What officially is a permit to travel into another country is called a visa. Sometimes visas are simply stamps placed in the back of a passport, but the visa is the stamp, not the passport. The US State Dept. can revoke a passport. My guess is that his passport was already revoked.

Being that he was indicted as a Traitor and his American Citizenship revoked, the passport was a useless document.
No, he doesn’t need a worthless passport to travel. He will be transported to hell by bombs or bullets, or, if captured, will be transported straight to a gurney with IV’s ready to be inserted into his arms.

My machine is 64 bit and I can’t usually get this method to work, but I installed a 32 bit Linux on a partition and your method worked great. So, I did get to waste a bit of my life on this video. I still think that some people in the third world may not be able or willing to use the Windows codecs. Yet, MEMRI needs to get out the message to them.
