Let’s bear in mind people that presidential politics is always about the margins. Who voted for Bush that won’t vote for the Republican this time around? Conversely, who voted for Kerry who won’t vote for Obama? Those are the two questions we need to ask.

I don’t see a problem in November no matter who the Republicans put up. The RNC has a bazillion dollars to spend too, once we know who the guy is gonna be.

It’s only January people. MUCH can happen between now and November for Obama to show he doesn’t have what it takes to be POTUS.

I don’t know why you all are so afraid of a rookie senator. I think the American people would pick Fred, John, or Mitt over him. Maybe even Huck. Sure, polls don’t say that now, but the public doesn’t really know how liberal or how wet-behind-the-ears Obama is. A good campaign would flush that out.
I’d rather face him than Hill.

1. This is premature Schadenfreude because it hurts us.
2. She’ll hurt more being thrown off the self-assumed majestic throne by the left than by the right.
3. That is still bad for us.

I want her in, and then be taken out in Nov. That w/b less painful for her, and for us.

Give the American people some credit. It is true that a large minority of Americans are as stupid as a cowbell. There still is I believe a majority of Americans that have higher intelligence. The democrates have done their best in the last 30 years to dumb down America, I still don’t think it will be enough to have the entire population give our freedoms away in a bid for FREE stuff. If the Reps run on a platform of FREEdom instead of FREEstuff then I think most of America will vote for that message and not “hope”. Americans are not a society that puts much faith on hope. They tend to want to see what they are buying before they buy. The leftwing nuts are another matter. They fell hook, line and sinker for the Gorebacle why would they not also fall for any false prophet? Clinton has no Charisma thus the leftwing nuts are easily misled from her to Barrack. They are like children following the piper. Give it another year of a DEM congress and the majority of people will never give all reins of power to the DEM party. They will vote REP for president or for congress for the simple act of protection IMO.

That’s cool and all, but Obama is going to trash whoever we put up against him. Hillary seemed beatable.

And let’s face it: Hillary’s right, this guy is naive. His answers on foreign policy questions are always clumsy, flailing affairs that take three days of corrections and clarifications to sort out. Scary stuff in a dangerous world.

Sorry. I just can’t make it all the way through her speach. Take notice New Hampshire of how long it took for Mrs. Bill Clinton to start dissing Iowa. She was in New Hampshire about 3 and a half seconds before proclaiming that Iowa was not a good indication of how the country would vote. That maybe true, but I didn’t hear that from any of her guest speakers that she choppered out to the far reaches of Iowa. She’s starting to sound like a script from Monty Python. They chop off an arm and she says “that didn’t hurt a bit, only a flesh wound”.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that Senator Barack Obama has opened a ten-percentage point victory over former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 47% to 37%
