I’m going to guess this isn’t a real commercial.
Sad but true: I haven’t even opened mine yet.

SECOND LOOK AT THE I PHONE !
William Amos on January 5, 2008 at 4:02 PM
Resistance is futile.
infidel on January 5, 2008 at 4:12 PM
Second look, heck. Sounds as though he needs to take a first look.
Slublog on January 5, 2008 at 4:13 PM
Having a thing is often less pleasurable then wanting it. It’s illogical, but it’s true.
Spirit of 1776 on January 5, 2008 at 4:14 PM
Are you talking about an I phone or marrage ?
William Amos on January 5, 2008 at 4:16 PM
That video has me gut laughing.
TheSitRep on January 5, 2008 at 4:23 PM
Good luck blogging on it. It’s a nightmare.
On a side note, rumor is there’s a new firmware update coming soon.
amerpundit on January 5, 2008 at 4:24 PM
A Spock quote! Geek.

We’ll know when AP opens up his iPhone box because we won’t see him around for a solid week.
Hollowpoint on January 5, 2008 at 4:28 PM
The pure, unadulterated truth of his remark is made all the better by the spaced out look on his face. Awesome.
Squid Vicious on January 5, 2008 at 4:28 PM
Either that, or all of his posts will look as though they’re written in l33t thanks to the learning curve associated with the keypads.

Where’s the Wyoming Caucus open thread?

“Amok Time”

You haven’t opened it?! Lemme guess. You’re hoping to exchange it for a robot.
RedWinged Blackbird on January 5, 2008 at 4:51 PM
It’s called the John’s Remorse, and it’s why men try to skip out on prostitutes without paying them.
Happens often with business consultants also.

The iPhone’s resolution is not that much less than NTSC. Is he suggesting that movies have to be seen in the theaters? I guess you haven’t really seen the movie until you’ve contemplated murdering the chatty people in front of you with your licorish.
Mark Jaquith on January 5, 2008 at 5:13 PM
Not having one myself, it does appear to me, the vid is true, very logical and funny…lmao.
Tks I needed that

Those are the real (pop)corn sucking idiots.
nailinmyeye on January 5, 2008 at 5:18 PM
Allahpundit –
You’d better open and use your iPhone soon, or you’ll be really annoyed when the new, infinitely better one comes out in a month or 2!
rockbend on January 5, 2008 at 5:46 PM
Taking a long time to unwrap the long-lusted-over target of desire. Is there anything more beta?
Karl on January 5, 2008 at 6:08 PM
I’m shocked…shocked, I tell ya!
New toy! New toy! Must open now!
tickleddragon on January 5, 2008 at 6:18 PM
The video is weird, but then it’s normal for him. *shudder*
tickleddragon on January 5, 2008 at 6:19 PM
Hmmm…David Lynch. Ah yes. He’s the one who made Mulholland Drive, a movie so incomprehensible and so bad, he had to add hot lesbian love scenes to it so people would watch it.
flipflop on January 5, 2008 at 6:35 PM
Thanks. I had to google it to see what it was, but I have seen that. I figured it was a derivative of M Aurelius or someone similar.
peterfrt, this is for you;)
Spirit of 1776 on January 5, 2008 at 6:38 PM
Allah,
Tithe it to me. You know as an offering to the god of materialism.
Tim Burton on January 5, 2008 at 7:04 PM
…with Naomi Watts and Laura Harring? That’s worth watching, repeatedly.
dedalus on January 5, 2008 at 10:22 PM
Back when I was a prostitute those f***ing business consultants skipped out on me all them time.

SECOND LOOK AT MULHOLLAND DRIVE!!!
BJ* on January 5, 2008 at 11:28 PM
Given the quality of most films these days, watching them on a telephone is probably ‘good enough’.
heldmyw on January 6, 2008 at 6:16 AM
I think he’s 100% right. I could watch movies on my Motorola V3xx but I don’t. Rather than waste the time it would take to drag and drop a movie via bluetooth or usb connection to the memory card I’ll wait till I get home or go to a theater. And being a David Lynch fan isn’t clouding my opinion. I just can’t imagine coming home, relaxing, and watching a movie on my phone. If I have that much time to kill while traveling or waiting for my verdict to come in I’ll bring along the laptop and watch a movie on that.
manfriend on January 6, 2008 at 4:40 PM
That wasn’t a bad film. It wasn’t incomprehensible either. Watch it again.
aengus on January 6, 2008 at 5:48 PM
You and I both. I love David Lynch.
srhoades on January 7, 2008 at 11:21 AM
True but that’s the beauty of his work, invite your friends of and trash it. Darren Aronofsky’s movies are the same (has anyone else ever suffered through “Pi”?)
