Well call this today’s moment of post-Iowa zen. Or pain. But Ron Burgundy approves, baby.

Wow, that was surreal. Although I never really get tired of laughing at the Sprinkler and the Lawnmower, because I’m extremely white.

I did like this headline off to the left side, though:

“Dangling Chopper Moved from UC Hospital Roof”

Because it’s important to keep your chopper from dangling.

ReubenJCogburn on January 4, 2008 at 3:40 PM

Cute.

Sue on January 4, 2008 at 3:42 PM

Very funny!

D2Boston on January 4, 2008 at 3:46 PM

That was outstanding.

MT on January 4, 2008 at 3:49 PM

That was great but it went a little long.
She seems like a fun chick.

TheSitRep on January 4, 2008 at 3:55 PM

Looks like the grown-ups were out for the night, so it’s time to Pah-tay!

iurockhead on January 4, 2008 at 3:57 PM

Now THAT was funny!! Thanks for that post!

tickleddragon on January 4, 2008 at 4:00 PM

Dude. Yes!

CP on January 4, 2008 at 4:01 PM

Thought I would hate it.
But dude. They were self-effacing enough to make it work. Laughed out loud.

Sugar Land on January 4, 2008 at 4:06 PM

I think more local stations should incorporate this into their Friday evening broadcast. How funny.

mimi1220 on January 4, 2008 at 4:07 PM

With the right hair, make-up and wardrobe people that broad might have a shot at being a Fox News Fox.

BTW, did anyone catch Foxcaster Rick Reichmuth with some hot blonde intern (I assume that’s what she was) standing on his shoulders earlier to show us what 10-11 feet looked like? I’m sure the FNC “watch dog” sites will have something to say about it.

RightWinged on January 4, 2008 at 4:14 PM

Was that Dan Rather? I knew he would get another gig soon.

Hening on January 4, 2008 at 4:15 PM

Ditto! Surprisingly fun and good!

asc85 on January 4, 2008 at 4:21 PM

As an awkward white guy with no rhythm, even I gotta say…..damn! that is bad!!!!!

conservnut on January 4, 2008 at 4:22 PM

Awesome.
(Is it just me . . . was the last anchorwoman wearing a Ron Burgandy sweater?)

geckomon on January 4, 2008 at 4:36 PM

Two great sports. I thought this would be cringe-worthy, but I enjoyed it too. I loved the bit when they moved in unison from right to left. Oh, and I’d never heard of the shopping cart. I’ll add it to my rep.

rivlax on January 4, 2008 at 4:39 PM

Ah ha ha, how thoroughly enjoyable. “Just a squirrel trying to get a nut!”

Remember Walking in the Rain from Oran Juice Jones?

RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Although I “like totally” enjoyed it, I think they should brush up on their hip-hop slang, per RushBaby’s quote above.

photom on January 4, 2008 at 4:53 PM

WTF?

flipflop on January 4, 2008 at 4:56 PM

OK, I’m moving to Cincinnati so I can see that every Friday.

flipflop on January 4, 2008 at 4:58 PM

It’s good to see people having a little fun at work! Thanks.

Zorro on January 4, 2008 at 5:58 PM

Still more evidence that Ecstasy and the news just don’t mix.

Blacksheep on January 4, 2008 at 6:16 PM

Gosh that was funny, and fun. Kinda like this guy having fun at his job (the fun starts at 1:30).

inviolet on January 4, 2008 at 6:28 PM

THAT’S funny. :) Made my day.

SuperManGreenLantern on January 4, 2008 at 6:31 PM

Quite the amusing! Thanks

inviolet on January 4, 2008 at 10:38 PM

Thank you! It was the very first song I ever bought for my ipod.

RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 10:54 PM

No complaints about self-absored egotistical newscasters etc etc? Wow.

So yes, that was awesome. And I can’t find it on Youtube anywhere, except for his ‘Eastbound and Down’ dance friday

Reaps on January 5, 2008 at 12:50 AM

OK, I’m moving to Cincinnati so I can see that every Friday.

flipflop on January 4, 2008 at 4:58 PM

HA! I’m already in Cinci. Ok ok, I’m from outer space. I only work in Cincinnati.

Texyank on January 4, 2008 at 7:37 PM

Well, it would be hard for Allah to rap and/or bust a move while wearing the paper bag and the oven mitts. ;p

ReubenJCogburn on January 5, 2008 at 2:32 AM

Yes Jill Nicolini will be a star.

ThackerAgency on January 4, 2008 at 4:45 PM

Sorry. I vote “Not Hot.” Her greatest asset is her traffic pylons. That’s it.

Captain Scarlet on January 5, 2008 at 4:41 AM

Now we know why the creator of the Gregorian calendar called it Fried day (later shortened to Friday).
