Obama’s rapture is even less friendly to libertarians.

How so? The Republicans in the House and Senate would be less prone to work against a Republican President’s goals of raising taxes or increasing spending than a Democrats (could Clinton have passed the Prescription Drug addon for Medicare?).

However Democrats don’t generally get smacked around in the House and Senate as badly for the same behavior. So they’ll work with either to raise taxes.

So, raising taxes, increasing spending, etc. Huck will have everyone on his side, Obama will only have the Dems.

How does this make Obama worse, or Huck better?

Exit question: Wouldn’t a Huck win signal to Senate/House Repubs that fiscal conservatism is dead, and what people really want is social conservatism and increased taxes/spending?

I’m sorry, I just don’t see how Huck trumps Obama here.

Think about this…with three unelectable choices,the Dems will have to bray all the louder about how great their chances are, their candidates are. It’s all lies.
One of the funniest things I saw on the internet this year was when I visited the website of a fine singer songwriter, Matraca Berg.
She hadn’t updated her site in a while, and she featured a video from 2004 where she and her husband proclaimed their love and excitement for…John Kerry.
I love her music; I haven’t been back to see if she’s catching the Obama wave or jumped on the Hillary bandwagon.
Maybe she’s still pining for Flipper.

And, man, have you ever heard a more sycophantic pile of dribble than that on a news analysis program, short of Matthews himself in the clip Laura Ingraham liked to play of Matthews gushing over the appearance of Bill Clinton in Philadelphia campaigning for Kerry? (That was after his heart surgery, when Billy C had dropped a few lbs. and Matthews was gushing, “Look at him! He looks great! He’s thin! Ha!”)
