Fred on Huck: “He practically wanted a sanctuary state in Arkansas”

“It could very well be that three of us will win three different races,” he says, intimating the strategy I described this morning. He’s like an 8-7 team in Week 17: Not only does he need to win (in South Carolina), he needs help from a couple of other teams, namely, McCain in New Hampshire and Romney in Michigan. Looks like he’ll have to do it without any more coaching from Newt, who’s allegedly gone over to … the other side.
Big bleeding chunks of red meat here, including/especially on taxes contra Huck. Takeaway: “When we’ve strayed, we have paid.” Exit question for our general audience via See-Dub: Did the passionate support of the right-wing blogosphere help keep Fred alive last night? (Answer: No!) Exit question for Fredheads: If you could have him as your leader, but only as a monarch, would you do it?
No need to respond. I already know.
Update: Keep hope alive!

A little ways down you will see a picture of a table full of people with one walking on the top. That is the sequence I was quoting.

The pinheads are in the right bottom corner.

Oh, I see you have a SECRET project going on. Very intriguing!
wccawa on January 4, 2008 at 8:21 PM
Of course there’s no need to respond – especially when you have a “no silly rhetorical questions” rule…that we DON’T feel like breaking.
Wind Rider on January 4, 2008 at 8:22 PM
Not secret. Will fill you in…elsewhere.

Glad to help. There is also a script linked on that home site, if you’d like me to grab that too.

My favorite pic:

But the pinheads aren’t visible in that one. But it is the precise moment that the freaks are ending their “Geeble gobble” chant.

Is there somewhere I can leave you an email address…so we don’t clog up the works here?
tickleddragon on January 4, 2008 at 8:30 PM
Don’t look now, but Fred just raised $87,000 in less than a day.

RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 8:57 PM
As a Fred supporter did I just hear that right from Oreily?
He was talking to Jeri Thompson and Oreily said that he has been trying to get Fred on the Factor for 6 months and he wont go??
broker1 on January 4, 2008 at 8:59 PM
Fred is looking for more Friends of Fred. One of the thing membership does it it allows you to easily ask questions of the campaign:

Fred Thompson Announces Endorsement of Right to Life of Wyoming
January 4, 2008
bnelson44 on January 4, 2008 at 9:14 PM
bnelson44 You’re Awesome!
RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 9:17 PM
That’s a cool endorsement, but a quick poll of the delegates has Mitt with 8, Fred with 2. I don’t think this will change the dynamics in one day, but heck, you can hope.
csdeven on January 4, 2008 at 9:30 PM
Fred already had Right to Life (Nationally?), I don’t see how it can make any difference.
Spirit of 1776 on January 4, 2008 at 9:34 PM
Wyoming is a pretty amazing state in many ways. But, based on my experience, people there put a lot of stock in their neighbors, they have great loyalty, are generous to a fault, and have an uncanny sense of what choice is the best.
Unlike
Iowasome states that I could mention.wccawa on January 4, 2008 at 9:36 PM
I was paying bnelson44 a compliment for all links he has posted in the interest of bucking up the FredHeads–regardless of their specific content.
RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 9:41 PM
Typical western individual types. And they do vote in dems. Governors I think.
csdeven on January 4, 2008 at 9:41 PM
No prob. I didn’t mean anything personal by it.
csdeven on January 4, 2008 at 9:42 PM
I spent a lot of years in Wyoming.
Fred should have made one more trip.
Just sayin’
wccawa on January 4, 2008 at 9:43 PM
The role of the modern monarch more closely resembles the American Vice President in terms of power and responsibility, so no thanks.
VerbumSap on January 4, 2008 at 9:43 PM
I guess they must be different. Why else make it an issue? Perhaps just an overzealous director?
csdeven on January 4, 2008 at 9:48 PM
Oh I know. You and I are cool from way back. By the way, congratulations (clicked your link in other thread):
RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 9:50 PM
I will predict that there will be some Knock out punches at both the Republican & Democrat debates here in NH tomorrow night Fred will have a strong showing and so will Obama & Huckabee. Hillary will get cold cocked and she will get all flustered and look around for Willy to answer the question for her. Inside source (reality)
bones47 on January 4, 2008 at 9:55 PM
You from Politico?

PaulFrednuts?Speakup on January 4, 2008 at 10:08 PM
LOL. Really.
RushBaby on January 4, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Regifting. I think is probably a state chapter of the national organization, since they share the name, and it’s just emphasizing it again but making it more personal and local. My guess.
Spirit of 1776 on January 4, 2008 at 10:09 PM
Obama is a very good public speaker, so is the Huckster. Fred had better bring his “A” game or it’s going to come down to those two.
Even on the Spanish channel they don’t mention Fred as coming in third. I’m feeling like a Ron Paul supporter.
Mojave Mark on January 4, 2008 at 10:11 PM
Well 105,000 has been raised for Fred today, not shabby at all
Gatordoug on January 4, 2008 at 11:13 PM
Is that’s the case then it wont mean a thing.
csdeven on January 4, 2008 at 11:19 PM
AP: “Did the passionate support of the right-wing blogosphere help keep Fred alive last night? (Answer: No!) ”
That’s RIIIIGHT, he didn’t came in 3rd because of that ad he couldn’t run because of all that money we didn’t help raise via the blogburst we didn’t have.
No, wait.. the opposite of all that.
spacemonkey on January 4, 2008 at 11:20 PM
Geraghty has Wyoming for Romney – by a lot.
I talked with a reporter out there earlier today who said it would be close between Romney and Fred but Romney has flooded the delegates with emails and direct mail as well as a few robo calls.
rick moran on January 4, 2008 at 11:23 PM
Well, Monarchs are only figureheads these days anyway, and at least it’d leave us with someone who speaks like a conservative
A bit like the South Park episode ‘I’m a little bit country’: “He’s right. The strength of this country is the ability to do one thing and say another! It’s called.. Having your cake, and eating it too!”

Didn’t think so, but I didn’t have the link at the time. New comp and still working out the bugs in Vista. Figured it was some ass trying to get some attention and not AP.
I’ve had people comment under my name at other sites. Normally doesn’t put me in the best light.

td – found a typo in a setting, so setup delayed, should be OK tomorrow.
RushBaby on January 5, 2008 at 12:39 PM
To answer your question with a question.
Would George Washington have taken that position?
The answer is no, and neither would Fred!
That is my final answer,!
