Anyone who's played Red Alert would find the whole 'blimp over the city' montage more than a little disturbing.. And what the hell's up with Ride of the friggin' Valkyries? the funny thing about the “Ron Paul is a patriot” narrative and the “18th century” candidate/thinker, is that if Paul were around back then he’d be accusing his hero, Jefferson, of being a War Monger and Liar over the Barbary Wars and coming up with reasons why America was to blame for the Jihadist of Jefferson’s day. and spread whatever else war propaganda he could think up.

Then he’d be either hung for treason or challenged to a duel and shot by a real man.

I witnessed the Ron Paul air corps in person. They had a plane at the Bank of America 500 in Charlotte this past October. RON PAUL IN 2008!!!

there must be a strong, financed, group of paultards in the area. I’ve seen many not far from speedway on corner of harris/mallard creek holding up signs with “Google Ron Paul” and sometimes waiving a flag around lunchtime. I drove in parking lot of the RiteAid they were at and they drove beat up old cars with “Ron Paul 2008″ all over them. Saw a similar car in Raleigh one day

obviously they don’t have normal jobs if any, and its also absurd to go to these lengths in a State whose primary isn’t until MAY……of course they are probably playing for the long run and the 3rd party run to come

Pretty much, though he thinks most of the trouble is our welfare. So if we just cut that they won’t have anything to live on.

So cut the military budget, bring them home, put the rest on the border.

Like I said, at least he’s for securing our borders. But don’t make me defend him, PLEASE!

And would you station them there forever? So I’m assuming he is going to pull all the troops from Afghanistan, Iraq and every other base in the world to stand on the border for years.

Supporting a wall /= supporting secure borders.

Ron Paul is rare in that he is a libertarian who wants to put the military on the boarder.

Please don’t make me defend him again, makes me feel dirty.

HOWEVER looking at his website:

Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.

LOL Ron Paul is beating McCain with an Air Force. That’s deliciously ironic.

Ron Paul at least kept this primary entertaining. He is probably going to go down as the nuttiest candidate in election history.

Seriously folks, tell yourself in 2050 when people talk of the guy who raise 5 mil on one day and rode around in a blimp isn’t going to cause our children and grandchildren to do a double-take.

if the candidates and political process would’ve taken Paul on instead of ignoring him they could’ve already discredited him. instead they’ve basically given him free reign.

perhaps this is kinda why McCain took on paul a little in that recent debate.

McCain doesn’t have anything to worry about with Ron Paul. Nothing would be better for his compaign than a head to head between the two of them…. oops, I guess he knows that ;-)
