He’s perfectly polite but obviously it’s wearing on him. So wedded is Skinner to this meme, in fact, that after he scolds her for it she actually brings it up again at the very end of the interview, thereby eliciting a little extra parting snark from Fred. Comedy gold.
Sorry for the bad sync and the tiny audio blip in the last few seconds. For dessert, enjoy Ed “I Want to Knock Out Romney’s Teeth” Rollins wishing Fred luck in scrounging up enough gas money to get his bus back to Tennessee when he inevitably flames out. It comes at about the halfway mark of J$’s clip.

I have yet to see anyone seriously go toe to toe with Fred over anything of substance. It’s all this stylistic gobbledegook about how many hours he is on the campaign, whether he wants it, what tv show he should have been on, blah blah blah.
If Republicans can’t choose based on his highly qualified analytical papers and proposals and elevate themselves above the mainstream media pablum, we will have missed a chance to elect a really great conservative President.
Now I can understand that some would disagree with his positions. But nobody seems ready to take him on over that. Instead its all style. And we aren’t even Democrats. Yikes.

I am a Fred!head all the way. Obviously I want him to stay in the race all the way because of his political philosophy. What a bonus it would be to see him handle the press on a daily basis and not give in to their BS. I miss Rumsfeld for that reason. He wouldn’t take crap from the Drive-Bys.

Republicans are stupid. I listened to Rush today and although he slammed Huskster his main point was well taken. The sad fact is that Republicans believe the MSM even while they gripe about it. Republican (conservative-wanna-bes) think that Reagan was a fluke and that you can’t win on conservative ideas even though those very ideas have caused a lot of prosperity in this nation. And Rush’s point about NJ wasn’t lost on me. There are no TRUE conservatives being rolled out here. The closest one IS Thompson. So we’ll all get Liberal lite vs. Liberal hard-core if we’re lucky. I mean after everything McCain and Thompson are running third? Tell me how after the last election cycle diaster this is possible? We cram the phones at Capitol Hill and now we want him to be President. Screw you all that go this way of thinking we need to go more center to be viable. DUDE, the Dems need to go more center to be viable… we’re fine where we are.
BTW~ I gave my money to Fred and have the sticker on the back of my car. I live in SoCal too. I even waited in line for 10 hours for a glimpse of RR’s casket, and I’m not embarrassed to call myself a conservative in public. You all should try it…

Here, here. Thank you for this comment and your passion. We need more of this kind of talk and less talk of “viability” and “electability” and “Fear Hillary!”.

I disagree. Duncan Hunter is. Fred is the second best conservative.
