The only thing more pathetic than a 60 year old person who tries to make him or herself out to be 23, is one who is completely unaware of how ridiculous he or she looks. Mrs. Greenspan, you look ridiculous.

Senator Dodd, on the other hand, strikes a very clear note on the absurd Iowa circle jerk for 150,000 bitter partisans.

He’s an intelligent guy. Gotta give him that. Even Presidential.

He may look presidential, but he spent the eighties being a traitor to our country by aiding the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua, just as he wants to aid our muslim enemies now.

Won't be long now and we'll finally know who 100,000 folks from Iowa think should be our next president.

Who cares?

Nobody but Iowans, who get $50-60 million kicked into their economy for their caw-caw caucus.

He was responding to the actions of Dennis Kucinich, who told his supporters to support Obama when he doesn't receive the requisite 15% in the caucuses.

Dodd thought that it was an insult for a candidate to do such a thing, and I agree. Kucinich has basically sold out to Obama, and possibly, a little quid-pro-quo is in order. Imagine that your candidate gave up for a deal with another candidate. These people have been supporting Kucinich for a long time and faced the risk of losing face for supporting a 'loony-toon.'

It's too bad, because no matter how crazy people think Kucinich is, I always thought he was a principled individual, but now that he's sold out, maybe he isn't.

Dodd is 100% correct.

I had meant the reference to Mitt’s $1.8 billion in spending in Iowa to be an obvious bit of sarcasm at Romney’s expense. But it seems Romney’s efforts to buy the Republican nomination have become so notorious and proverbial that many readers are asking if it’s really true.

In the immortal words of DEVO,

I can walk like an ape
Talk like an ape
I can do what a monkey can do

The smarter we get, the stupider we become.
