Holy cow! I just got back from the grocery store, where I encountered a Ron Paul supporter, he was nuttier than a fruitcake, the odd thing, even though he talked about Ron Paul, the flier he gave me says: “Gore-Fisher 2008″ also, Mel Gibson is somehow worked into it. Very odd.

The ad works for me, but then I’ve never been in favor of completely open borders. I’m a tall fence/wide gate guy. Keep the violent criminals out, take away economic and socialistic carrots, and let the labor market decide our immigration levels.

Update: And here we find the Paul campaign exercising the discretion they’ve become so famous for, issuing denunciations of Fox News before checking to find out if what they’re denouncing ever really happened.

Actually, Ron Paul is going to be excluded from a GOP forum on Fox News not a debate. I say, its about time we get serious and start having serious discussions. But of course the Paulites are going to be very angry.

I would think they’d want to hold their rally in City of Heroes/Villains rather than WoW. A place where spandex clad people wear their underwear on the outside of their pants seems a natural habitat for conspiracy theorists and neonazis to hang out together. Much more so than Azeroth. Of course Statesman and Lord Recluse would probably take turns kicking Ron Paul’s butt so maybe thats why they’re steering clear of Paragon City.

The rally will be led from Iron~~forge~~Cross to Storm~~wind~~front by a group of players (a "guild") named "RP Revolution".

Fixed that for them.

When the virtual war game launched in November 2004, GameSpy's Allen Rausch wrote a do's and don'ts that included "Don't: Bring real-world politics into the game."

Common sense advice that would make the game more fun for everybody is of course completely wasted on Ronulans. It would be so unreasonable to expect cultists to be able to go five minutes without screaming "Ron Paul!".
