Video: Fred’s message to Iowa voters

A video like this one, 17 minutes of Fred addressing voters directly via the camera, forces viewers to ask a few basic questions. One, is what he is saying true and is he saying it clearly enough so that it makes sense? Second, does what he’s saying reflect my values and does he have a record of sticking to those values? Third, does he make a plausible president?

I like Huck (I thought he would do the best in getting moderate democrat votes) but lately he has some explaining to do. If Fred keeps this up and Huck doesn’t clear thing up then I too would love to see a Thompson/Hunter ticket. I think Fred against Hillary or the other two would be strong.

I’m not a religious kind of guy, and Huck’s preachiness fairly creeps me out (although it’s not the deciding factor in my opposition to him by any means), but Fred’s mild, respectful, religious tone doesn’t bother me at all. He refers to God in a sense barely greater than the Founding Fathers did in the Declaration of Independence, when they noted that “… they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights …” I can support Fred’s take on that form of supreme being, and I’ll bet that millions of others like me can, too.

Well, that really depends. It’s a 1932 independent horror film, by Tod Browning. Strange, and featured real side-show folk…like Zippy the Pinhead.
If you like the weird stuff..yes. If not, no. It’s creepy. But the line was appropriate in the sense that it is genuinely welcoming.
