I’m sure no one will be surprised when I tell you that some of the people I know have accused Bush of plotting to kill her. Either that, or his foreign policies are the reason she’s dead.

Next time they do that, ask them why Clinton “let” Pakistan go nuclear in the first place. We wouldn’t give a crap about all this if they didn’t have nukes.

The Pakistani government hasn’t been helping its case by the sparse information, the conflicting medical reports, and absurdities like the “hit her head” theory. The fact remains that the state-provided security was far from adequate no matter what the circumstances. I’m not a member of the grassy knoll gang to suggest that there were many public officials that had motive and were in a position to assassinate a political rival.

Interesting too, that Bhutto’s last words were “Long live Bhutto”. Self before family, family before country

Saw the kid making a speech this morning. His English was flawless and it was reported that further speeches would be in English since his Urdu is less than stellar.

Considering the fact that Pakistan has had so much instability, it’s more forgivable for them to try to stick with known quantities than for us to keep electing people based on family ties due to sheer nostalgia and money-raising abilities.

barrage during the term of a Clinton Presidency. Couple that to siding with our enemy and we could be in BIG trouble. UN rule with Bill Clinton in charge? It sounds crazy but Hillary was a proponent of Bills UN aspirations.

With similar stories in other International papers the people of Pakistan are well on their way to demonstrating to everyone on the planet that their average IQ is all the way up there in double digits, leaving one to wonder how they every managed to build a nuclear bomb.

Lots of conflicting eyewitness accounts as to how many bullet holes, their location, etc… As ignominious as it is to her supporters, the Pakistani government report is thus far the most credible.

A 3-page medical report, a copy of which is available with Daily Times, stated that an open-head injury with depressed skull fracture caused a cardiopulmonary arrest. The Interior Ministry had claimed that Benazir suffered a head injury after hitting the lever of her vehicle’s sunroof. The report read, “Benazir was pulse-less and was not breathing when she was brought to the hospital. Her pupils were fixed dilated and non-reacting to light. A wound was present on the right temporo-parietal region through which blood was trickling down and a whitish material, which looked like brain matter was visible in the wound.”It said that cardiopulmonary resuscitation was given as soon as Benazir was brought to the hospital. azaz syed

I’m guessing that the Pakistani government may not have taken possession of the body and or accurate details may not be available.

Israeli media reports on Friday revealed that slain Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto intended to establish official relations with the Jewish state if elected and was seeking Mossad protection in the interim.

Being a fly on the wall in the Whitehouse situation room and in Musharef’s office equivalent would be very interesting indeed.
