Seeing all those pompous hacks hobnobbing at extravagent tea parties on the backs of the “commoners” and stuffing their fat faces and fat wallets at the low life taxpayer expense makes me sick. I feel bad for the masses who toil so that the self appointed few can play polo chase the wives / husbands of the other privilege ones in their social circles. Monarchy Lifetime seats in the Congress and Senate is a slap in the face to everything I, my brothers, my uncles, my parent and my grandparents spilled blood for.

I respect the Queen. She’s not my queen, but she is first class all the way, in spite of her dysfunctional family. Is hers any more dysfunctional than many ordinary families?

I was thinking the same thing.

Personally, I’d rather inherit an unpleasant monarch than see moonbat pols and their family members elected–again and again and again . . . (the Kennedys, anyone?)

Really? Tell that to our career politicians and their second and third generation offspring that slide right into politics. Algore? The Kennedy clan? The Bushes? We have plenty of dynastic pols in this country that keep power through family ties and loads of cash. The Queen doesn’t make laws, she brings in hella tourist dollars.

The Queen is a class act during a time where class is sorely missing.

The heritage and culture of England will be an anachronism, while it’s destiny will be lived out by the rebels of the US and the convicts Downunder. There is so much that is good of what we have inherited by the Brits that founded this country, and thank goodness they successfully severed the ties to a kingdom that is sinking under its own bad judgment and political correctness.

The hippies rebelled against their parents generation because they thought it too “uptight” in some areas it may have been true, but now things have just degenerated to something lower than low.

I’m only 40 and I shake my head at some of the things I see. Where is the civility? For crying out loud, I still call my parents friends “mr” or “mrs”. I wouldn’t dream about not doing that.
