The ol “poor me’ ploy.

So sorry, it does not play well with the informed and the public is becoming more informed than ‘Wild Bill’ or others on the left realize.

I am getting the sense that the left will be sitting around on Nov 5th saying; “what happened here, it was not supposed to go this way, we told better lies than the other side, we deserved to whine-I I I mean win”.

Clinton spends most of his time bragging about how rich he is. Only a few weeks ago in Iowa, he said to the audience that he was so angry that Bush tax cuts didn’t “allow people like me to support our troops” by paying more in taxes. Leave aside for a moment the rather easy answer to Clinton that he can, if he wants, make a larger tax payment to the US than is minimally required. He can also donate to the USO and veterans groups. The whole point of his statement was to brag on himself. He also recently said: “People like me don’t need a tax cut”. Just another excuse for childish bragging. But how about this whopper. While ostendibly calling for people to give to charity, Clinton said: “You may not have Bill Gates’ money or Bill Clinton’s connections…” The man is so narcissistic that he wanted to drop Bill Gates name and to brag on himself. The man has no shame. He really is that much of an insecure guy.CI wonder when he was denouncing the access of the rich to political leaders if he included Terry Mccauliff into the mix. This is the Clinton crony who just happened to make millions from World Com before it crashed leaving the little people with worthless paper. Wonder if Bill speaks for them. I feel like a one man research department for hot air and MM.

No dummy they don’t have more right to free speech. They do have money for TV and Radio ads to have their speech heard by more people. But the homeless guy on the corner can say the exact same things (or the exact opposite) without being thrown in jail.

However the homeless guy doesn’t have the right to force a TV station, or radio station to give him airtime for free. Is this the unfair problem that Clinton is now worried about?

Fine, I’ll bite. What’s the solution? No, let me guess first.

Nationalizing the airwaves and all forms of media under Government control perhaps? I can’t see a way that Clinton would consider a “fair” distribution of these resources, except Government control. And controlling the means of production is a big step in the plans of either Democrats, or Socialists. I can’t tell them apart anymore.
