Even if she wasn’t in the full possession of a monarch’s power, as the line had been years before, she was completely possessed of exactly what anyone bearing such a responsibility should have…And anyone in the clown college we call a primary system should be taking notes. (Meaning what you say would be a good start) There’s a level of class there that hasn’t been seen around here, except in fits, starts and small glimpses, for a very long time. May she live long enough to pass her crown, and teach the protocols, to someone worth working the throne room.

I am still sometimes struck at how old the Culture Wars, “Modernism” and “Post-Modernism” really are.
C.S. Lewis spoke and wrote about the push to discard morality and Biblical Christianity in our society over a decade earlier than this, and it is clear from his writings that it was no very recent trend even then.
Now, it is Islam that is reaping what the West has been sowing all these decades. “Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.”
Her Majesty is a living rebuke to all those of us who would rather live on our knees than fight and die on our feet.

That was a wonderful speech, never seen her in that youth, growing up, always seen an older woman, waving, but to see her making that speech on tv, adds another dimension to this woman. She wasn’t bad looking either.

Drudge had that article about Shirley Bassy sp? stating no one in her country speaks English anymore. The women who ran Great Britain, the Queen, Queen Mother, Margaret Thatcher during hte 20th Century. vs some women who think the run the USA (won’t mention don’t want to make people ill).
