Almost makes you want to believe in Jesus.

Or Santa.

Or Hitchens.

Ok, enough ribbing.. :)

I got a Foreman grill. One of those big jobs. And it was “autographed” by Foreman. So there.

Nethicus on December 24, 2007 at 5:10 PM

MM told me she actually tried to get me an inscribed copy of God Is Not Great but couldn’t track Hitch down.

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:12 PM

Sweet!

MM told me she actually tried to get me an inscribed copy of God Is Not Great but couldn’t track Hitch down.

Did she try leaving a trail of scotch and cigarettes?

MM told me she actually tried to get me an inscribed copy of God Is Not Great but couldn’t track Hitch down.

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:12 PM

Doh….The Hitch was hiding from you…God was smiting you for your Godless heathen ways AP…Congrats on the book from Ali…

doriangrey on December 24, 2007 at 5:15 PM

Great choice!

I guess this means that giving an iPhone as a present is now sooo yesterday. ;-)

Merry Christmas Allah, Bryan & Michelle!

notta_dhimmi on December 24, 2007 at 5:16 PM

Did she try leaving a trail of scotch and cigarettes?

trubble on December 24, 2007 at 5:14 PM

No…But I bet Hitch left one MM could have followed right to him had she thought of it…

doriangrey on December 24, 2007 at 5:16 PM

Did she try leaving a trail of scotch and cigarettes?

RESPECT HITCH.

Actually, it was a trail of bourbon and cigars.

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:17 PM

Stay safe

I’m not sure what “stay safe” means from the bravest woman in the world.

thuja on December 24, 2007 at 5:18 PM

thuja on December 24, 2007 at 5:18 PM

Coming from her I would imagine it means don’t ever let anyone intimidate you out of saying the things you believe, but don’t forget to watch you back when you do.

doriangrey on December 24, 2007 at 5:22 PM

MM told me she actually tried to get me an inscribed copy of God Is Not Great but couldn’t track Hitch down.

SECOND LOOK AT MM AND HITCH!

broker1 on December 24, 2007 at 5:22 PM

RESPECT HITCH.

Actually, it was a trail of bourbon and cigars.

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:17 PM

Oh I do, I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can get as skunk faced drunk as the Hitch and still present a lucid rational argument. Believe me I have tried and it’s way harder than it looks…

doriangrey on December 24, 2007 at 5:24 PM

You’re the infidel Allahpundit. That’s like me saying “you’re the man.” Merry Christmas.

Griz on December 24, 2007 at 5:24 PM

SECOND LOOK AT INFIDELS!

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:25 PM

Truly a Joyeux Noël for you.

Merry Christmas AP

its vintage duh on December 24, 2007 at 5:43 PM

Who’s got the best boss in the world?

That is a rhetorical question right?

Oh and I want to wish a very merry Christmas to Michelle, Bryan Allah and the rest of you fine folks here at HA.

Mojack420 on December 24, 2007 at 5:46 PM

Here’s wishing the most awesomest Christmas evah to Michelle, Allah and Bryan.

Thanks for bringing us Hot Air every day!

flipflop on December 24, 2007 at 5:49 PM

Not fair! Why the hell should an atheist get better Christmas presents than I get? Especially an atheist urbanite who is piscatorially challenged!

RedWinged Blackbird on December 24, 2007 at 5:55 PM

Kewl present for AP! Merry Christmas to all the HotAir crew.

inviolet on December 24, 2007 at 6:02 PM

Yay, Merry Christmas!

marykatharine on December 24, 2007 at 6:35 PM

Cool! That’s as wondrous a gift as the autographed copy of America Alone I received last Christmas. Well, I have to admit mine isn’t dedicated to me exactly, but Ali and Steyn are the best.

Buy Danish on December 24, 2007 at 6:41 PM

oakpack on December 24, 2007 at 7:31 PM

Allah, I envy you.
Much better than the iCrap (a friend has one…even hacked it, and regrets it every day)

lsutiger on December 24, 2007 at 7:41 PM

Merriest of Christmases to the fine HA proprietors and commentors alike…and thanks for keeping me informed, amused, occasionally irked, and always thinking.

Patrick S on December 24, 2007 at 7:50 PM

I skinned my Windows Mobile smartphone to look like an iPhone. I haven’t decided whether I really like it or not, but the clownfish is cool. It definitely gets the real iPhoners ticked off, which makes me smile very much.

Merry Christmas to all you infidels, but especially to MM, Bryan and AP. We may run cheese graters up each other’s backs once in awhile, but by God, there is not a finer place on the intratubes.

This site started out as a concept and bloomed into a community, and it is a damn fine one. May God bless each and every one here. Especially you, AP. And I am unanimous in that.

wccawa on December 24, 2007 at 7:51 PM

Wow, great gift AP, good job Michelle.

Merry Christmas all.

conservnut on December 24, 2007 at 8:15 PM

Allahpundit,that’s an A-1 Christmas gift,and I thank-you
for opening my eyes brighter and wider to all things
political and humourous.

To you and the Hot Air community, from north of the border,

Have a very Merry Christmas.

canopfor on December 24, 2007 at 8:18 PM

wccawa, that teacher was so right :) You’re indeed very special.

AP, a classy dame sent you another classy dame’s book and picture, with perfect timing and dedication. And you don’t believe there is a god?

Entelechy on December 24, 2007 at 8:22 PM

That the strangest-looking iPod I’ve ever seen.

Blacklake on December 24, 2007 at 9:37 PM

If you got the book does that mean Bryan got that Apple telephone thingy he wanted?

LakeRuins on December 24, 2007 at 9:56 PM

Allah’s a good guy, he deserves a break. What other blog can you think of where the blogger has been accused of being a troll (at least twice to my memory) on his own blog?! Unlike The Blogger Who Must Not Be Named he doesn’t go on mad banning sprees just because people disagree with him.

Durn Ebay counterfeiters!

GoodBoy on December 24, 2007 at 10:10 PM

Fantastic gift, Allah.

Merry Christmas and my best for the coming year to you, Bryan, and Michelle. You guys are the tops.

Jimmie on December 24, 2007 at 11:35 PM

As much as I like Hutch, I think you got a much better gift. Ms. Ali is one of the truly great figures of our time. I am just a little bit jealous right now, AP.

Merry Christmas!

Anton on December 24, 2007 at 11:52 PM

Who’s got the best boss in the world?

You do! Merry Christmas!

Zorro on December 25, 2007 at 12:00 AM

What a boss.

Not being the star gazer type, I don’t get all aflutter over celebrities and their autographs, but I must say, I’m jealous.

Will the new year bring an exclusive Hot Air interview with Ayaan?

Memnon on December 25, 2007 at 12:46 AM

nice

Mazal tov on the book, Allah, that’s awesome!

tikvah on December 25, 2007 at 1:28 AM

Merry Christmas, AP.

Merry Christmas, Bryan.

And now off to bed and visions of sugar plums…

John on December 25, 2007 at 3:04 AM

Or Hitchens.

Hitchens exists no more than invisible pink unicorns in my bathtub, he is merely an unverifiable mass illusion.

Merry Christmas everyone.

BKennedy on December 25, 2007 at 5:28 AM

Verry, verry nice. Merry Christmas to all and a special one to Ayaan!

Allahpundit on December 24, 2007 at 5:12 PM

Please tell me this is some kind of sick joke. Who in their right mind would pick that psycho over Ali?

Darth Executor on December 25, 2007 at 10:08 AM

You didn’t want her to put your real name? I know that’s your handle and all, but I would have wanted it to be a little more personal.

Asher on December 25, 2007 at 10:20 AM

“stay safe” – and that means something, from one of the few political people who really is in danger of a sticky end, unlike e.g. Mr “Don’t taste me bro”.

Apeking on December 25, 2007 at 10:27 AM

I like the way she made “Allah Pundit” two names.

Witty.

Now I have to go look under the tree and see if I got a copy.

(Sans such a signature, sadly.)

profitsbeard on December 25, 2007 at 10:47 AM

Personally, I would.

Maybe it has something to do with the two Jamaican black cakes that I have just polished off with two friends or the Jamaican beer we bought near by (If you have not tried Jamaican black cake, my holiday gift to you is to tell you that if you go to west 51st street in Manhattan, NYC on any weekday you can find the Jamaican food truck. It is like entering heaven!) but I can’t tell who inscribed the book to Allahpundit. I can’t read the initials.

Larraby on December 25, 2007 at 2:53 PM

Ummm, which fearless leader psycho would that be?

Since Allah is the psycho fearless leader who appreciates both Hitch and Hirsi Ali, that fearless leader psycho.

Speakup on December 25, 2007 at 7:18 PM

We await your book review, Allah Pundit.

Prompted by the title of Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s book and your putative atheism, I’ll record here my opinion that being an infidel seems to be valuable service of the god.

Kralizec on December 25, 2007 at 7:23 PM

You should keep that bag over your head more often? Or maybe it was that oven mitt…

or

You’re stupendously great posts and unbridled dedication did it!

SouthernGent on December 25, 2007 at 8:08 PM

Totally jealous. Nice job MM.

Dash on December 25, 2007 at 8:40 PM

Certainly better than getting an STD from one’s boss.

rokemronnie on December 25, 2007 at 9:03 PM

Allah:

You’ve got the best boss. Ms. Ali’s words will put everything in proper perspective.

Do we call them Infidel’s for not blindly following the words of their self proclaimed oracles. No, we will naturally emotionally vent when they inflict their indiscretions upon U.S. but, always realize they are just not Informed.

Hope your Christmas was fruitful (no fruit cakes) and your New Year is bountiful.

tlynch001 on December 26, 2007 at 11:42 AM

That’s an AMAZING gift! I love Ayaan.

I was Christmas shopping with my god-daughter on Christmas eve and ran into the bookstore quickly and picked her up a copy for her and her sisters. My first copy is circulating among others.

And thuja nailed the sentiment exactly.
