Good morning folks,
Merry Christmas everyone.
May your day be filled with smiles
and your hearts filled with love.

PaKeystoner on December 25, 2007 at 7:09 AM

This vid was a wonderful gift for Christmas morning. I especially liked Bryan on the guitar hero. Thats the first time I ever heard it played acoustically. heh heh But really I met you both (Michelle and Bryan) at the Gathering of Eagles rally in DC over the summer. I volunteered for the peace keeper squad and got a cool orange t-shirt. After I escorted two ladies back to the meeting grounds from Pennsylvania Avenue I came upon Michelle sitting in the shade of a tree diligently banging away on her laptop . I took it upon myself to interupt her and introduce myself. I got a a warm greeting although the short version , and Bryan was cordial with a little small talk. I would like to say thank you for your sincere efforts and hard work Folks that includes everyone at HA and Allahpundit! Gee after this presentation I feel like the only thing missing is for Michelle to come over and tuck me in. heh heh really I bet you guys are raising some awesome children.

TheSitRep on December 25, 2007 at 9:17 AM

Thanks for our special greeting, Michelle.

Hot Air has become an indispensable source of news, analysis, serious education and frivolous fun. Allahpundit, Bryan, Michelle, Robert, you work non-stop and your product is solid gold. What’s stored in your Vault is better than Fort Knox.

Merry Christmas to you, to Patterico, See-Dubya and the other guest bloggers who have added so much, and to Ian, who will always be part of the family.

It’s a privilege to read and interact with the contributions of all the readers. I feel such a surge of warmth, togetherness and gratitude for all of you. Hot Air is truly home, and you guys are like family, on the internet.

Christmas Wishes and a Big Texas Hug for all!

Merry Christmas and God’s Blessings to everyone at Hot Air! I truly believe I have experienced a Christmas miracle the past two days. After five years dealing with two cancer bouts, TWO DAYS pain free! There is a God. Allah, and He cares for us all, even insignificant me.

All praise and gratitude to Him for his unmatchable gift to all men, His perfect son.

I know me too. Can it be Allah is a hypocrite of the atheist variety and thinks he can slack off on Christmas? Hmm Wheres the zeal? Unless atheists have a holiday today, what would you call it. Universal hangover humbug day? I know I’m gettin laid don’t bother me or I’ll ban you day. Maybe argument winners celebration day.

Christmas at the cemetery

By Michael Albert

When down in the valley are extinguished
The candles on the Christmas tree
And in the dream of so many a child
Joy burns in the heart of thee

Then sounds full of earnest, full of power
The bell aloft,
To the silent, holy night
The Lord, the Lord with praise to shower

She tolls her song so rich, so shrill
On the high place of peace,
Where for so long, so long asleep
Many’re in the cold bed, in the heart of the hill

She sings her song for the dead there
In her wide, wide range
Even at the top, the silent place
“It’s Christmas”, sounds the message, bare

Oh, Christmas, Christmas, observance
Who has a child, a dear, buried there,
Brought pine branches, loyal minded,
For him, as a gift of remembrance

By day, so soft, placed them down together
On his bed, for him as a gift
To show that he thought of him
And him continues to remember

And whose father rests aloft,
Covered with snow and ice,
And who his wife, so dear, so good,
In his circle misses a lot

Him calls the bell’s sound
Into the realm of silence above
He also feels his love’s urge
Embraced in their round

Thank you HA and Merry Christmas to all here. The antidote to this ‘addiction’ is just more of it.

Speaking of the Reason for the Season, etc….
I hold in my hand a home-made card from my 4-year-old granddaughter saying

Happy Birthday
Jesus
and
Merry
Christmas!

(I think her mom (Monsterette 1) might have helped her with it.)

Good News of great joy … a Savior who is Christ the Lord. The Reason for the season, indeed.

Our favorite passage to read each year. Thank you. And may Hot Air have a wonderful and productive year ahead.

flutejpl on December 26, 2007 at 9:12 AM

Michelle, Allah, Bryan and HA staff:

You know how to bring out the best in everyone.

Even the left should be able to get your message and those on from the troops on MM.com. All they have to do is listen carefully, and they too can be enlightened.

Merry Christmas to all and all a great night and a prosperous New Year.

MSGTAS on December 26, 2007 at 9:13 AM

Okay, so I’m a day late because I spent a fun Christmas serving at a senior center then coming home through a bigger-than-expected Colorado White Christmas then playing with my my son’s new toys.

But, thank you, Michelle, Allah, Bryan, et al. Merry Christmas.

One thing, however: Just as my family looks forward to certain Christmas specials each year, I had hoped to have seen Michelle and Bryan’s “Sleigh Ride” again this year without trenching through the Vault. Thanks.
