Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when Hillary was informed of this screw-up. I wonder if she’s completely digested the messenger yet.

What’s the problem? I would take that pledge…in recognition of Benedict Arnold’s birthday.
RushBaby on December 23, 2007 at 10:42 PM
You know, I’ve worked on campaigns like this before and if that is the most an advance staff gets wrong on these events they are doing awfully well. Most of the time they are just college kids learning the ropes for the first time.

Bill did it. He doesn’t want her to be POTUS. She might show him up.

Your working with printers here, worrying about getting the cards out on time, making sure the union “bug” is on the card, worrying about 1,000 other details to make sure the event comes off and the crowd is there when the candidate is there. Yea, getting the date wrong is understandable. It happens in a campaign. Believe it or not, it even happens in Republican campaigns.

Oh the burden of being so brilliant.

Yeah, it would have been way cooler if they’d pledged like this.

The Clintons will have to summon George Stephanopolous and take turns reeming him out. I always wondered how George gould put up with the constant humiliations he received from the Clintons. Bill even thought so little of George that Bill had his first “nonsexual” encounter with Monica in George’s White House Office. How disrespectful is that? And what is truly amazing is that after all the times when the Clintons lied to people, treated their supporters like garbage, the Clinton acolytes keep coming back for more punishment.
