Sycophant.

Too late Huck. Limbaugh is just going to roast you on your record, better to have stayed quiet and hopefully Rush would lose interest. But now... I can not wait until Rush's next show.

Meet The Press (and Fox News Sunday) is delayed an hour here in the land of snow, cheese and beer (suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin). Thanks to the warning about Paul being on MTP, I know not to tune into that.

<blockquote>csdeven on December 23, 2007 at 6:36 AM</blockquote>
Very good questions. The short answer is that 75 years of virtually-unchecked growth of government has successfully killed conservatism and put us on at best the slow boat to outright socialism. Just take a look at how the last couple of tax-rate cut battles were fought. The argument that ultimately won the day wasn't, "Let's cut taxes because government is taking and spending too much." It was, "Let's cut the rates because it won't actually reduce how much government takes."

<blockquote>"I don’t have his number," Huckabee explained. "If you have it, Jonathan, why don’t you give it to me. I’d love to talk to him."</blockquote>
One of two explanations for this:

- The more-innocent one is he doesn't have the "hotline" number (that is something that is well-guarded by radio shows)
- If he doesn't have the main studio line (1-800-282-2882), he's lying (again) about loving Rush.

I expect that Hucks numbers will be headed to McCain, Hunter, and Thompson territory pretty soon.

Where are the real conservatives? Did RR take them with him? Did the Clinton/Bush years damage this country so badly that the only way to get elected is to try and be both liberal and conservative at the same time? Why, as is evident in the 2000 election, is this country so polarized? Aren't there ANY issues left that cross party lines that we can get behind? Is it going to take a catastrophic event like the depression to get folks wanting the same things for this country?

The only consolation is that the liberals are having the same problem. They don't think their liberals are liberal enough.

The only answer is that it is time for a new Reaganesque movement in this country. We are bored with the old Reagan, and the next politician who figures out how to speak to us all, WILL become the new Reagan.

I <strike>hate</strike> really dislike Huck. He reminds me of those guys always coming to my door to sell me Jesus. I always tell them, "I'm sold on Jesus!!" If Catholic isn't good enough for you then curse my land and be done with it.

Beyond that, why would anyone try to piss off Rush?

And why am I awake...
