As cheesy as it is, if this were a real CD it would probably sell.

Blowback

As good as “Hung for the Holidays?”

I think not!

World B. Free on December 21, 2007 at 10:35 AM

Yuck! If it was being done by Jerry Garcia I might spring for it…but he’s Dead…

Oldnuke on December 21, 2007 at 10:43 AM

New Videos. Every Day.

That reminds me of another site that used to post videos every day. Air Vent or something.

And the car crash/spit take was awesome.

saint kansas on December 21, 2007 at 10:44 AM

I’d buy it. There, I said it.

Allahpundit on December 21, 2007 at 10:45 AM

How about a Joe Perry Christmas?

JammieWearingFool on December 21, 2007 at 10:47 AM

omg that was awful

trailortrash on December 21, 2007 at 10:50 AM

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

flipflop on December 21, 2007 at 10:55 AM

Wow.

Dash on December 21, 2007 at 10:33 AM

I concur (I think).

This is the kind of creativity in the minds of others? Frightening.

Although somewhat enjoyable.

asc85 on December 21, 2007 at 10:56 AM

I’d buy it…

JOURNEY RULES!!!!!!!!

Jared_MA on December 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM

Steve Perry loves his cats. Seriously.

matd on December 21, 2007 at 11:02 AM

I’d by a CD of Perry grunting on the toilet. This was hilarious.

journeyscarab on December 21, 2007 at 11:04 AM

Whatever your opinion of Journey, Steve Perry had some of the best pipes in rock history. If he were singing Christmas songs straight-up, I’d probably plunk down for it.

KGB on December 21, 2007 at 11:12 AM

Parody… sometimes it IS better than the real thing.

Still. MY EARS!!

CliffHanger on December 21, 2007 at 11:15 AM

A+++++ will click again.

Vincenzo on December 21, 2007 at 11:30 AM

but he’s Dead…

Oldnuke on December 21, 2007 at 10:43 AM

yes, and Grateful too…

Rick on December 21, 2007 at 11:38 AM

He’s not dead, he’s just pining for the fjords…

Perry on December 21, 2007 at 11:58 AM

BARF (~o~)

Kini on December 21, 2007 at 12:07 PM

Well, that’s 2:09 that I’ll never have back. I’d much rather listen to Twisted Christmas, such as this old classic.

Me too.

StephC on December 21, 2007 at 12:11 PM

I would buy that album. I think I should go get some Journey, just for the heck of it.

Krydor on December 21, 2007 at 12:31 PM

I wish the real Steve Perry would release “A Very Perry Christmas.”

krabbas on December 21, 2007 at 12:35 PM

I would buy an album of Steve Perry’s/Journey’s greatest melodies with the lyrics of Christmas tunes, but not the other way around.

Bigfoot on December 21, 2007 at 12:10 PM

Heh. Now that’s some music that’ll get your chestnuts roasting.

ReubenJCogburn on December 21, 2007 at 12:54 PM

Buy that? I’d sooner buy a Chia-Pet.

petefrt on December 21, 2007 at 1:02 PM

Okay, that was just brilliant. Brilliant.

Whoever did that deserves an award. That ranks up there with “Dick in a Box” from last X-mas.

I’d buy the parody. It’s good. And funny. I’d play it at the office party.

Professor Blather on December 21, 2007 at 1:14 PM

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

A little too much information. Talk to the hand! (If anybody else has any tired cliches to contribute, feel free.)

Good to see Dee and the guys are still kicking it.

infidel4life on December 21, 2007 at 4:10 PM

If Amazon.com had a waiting list, I’d be on it.

Loved this send-up, and the Twisted Sister vid. Christmas cheer, HA style!

RushBaby on December 21, 2007 at 6:39 PM

Id buy it! and make it a Christmas Eve tradition… along with the obligatory “double” egg nog…

Doogiesd on December 21, 2007 at 7:16 PM

I have to show this to my sister. She’s been a fan of Journey for as long as I can remember.

Afterimage on December 21, 2007 at 8:10 PM

How much you gettin paid to show this one? I love Black20’s net_work series, even though they couldn’t write a complete narrative to save their lives.

Neo on December 21, 2007 at 10:13 PM

How about a Joe Perry Christmas?

JammieWearingFool on December 21, 2007 at 10:47 AM

Or maybe a Joe Penny Christmas?

Thanks for that, Bryan. You gave me flashbacks to that Journey reunion concert my ex-wife dragged me to back in ‘00. Did nothing but gripe most the trip home because Steve Perry wasn’t with them. Berated me the rest of the way because I couldn’t tell the difference between him and the guy that was up there singing.
