She just has to do well enough to keep it close. What she wants to avoid is having to pay Obama off (like him wanting VP) if he does well enough.

If she does have something against Obama Id bank on it being something that turns off black voters on him. Or women.

In the end, Mr. Obama chose neither to vote for nor against the bill. He voted “present,” effectively sidestepping the issue, an option he invoked nearly 130 times as a state senator.

If this is Hillary’s planted story, and I say it is until her devious minions prove me wrong, then she’s got nothin’.

She’s got nothing whether this is her ploy or not. Hillary’s problem with attacking Obama on issues is that she lacks a platform of her own other than her insistence on a need for change, change which only she has the experience to implement (and yet not enough experience to elucidate it). As much as I’d like to see the Messiah topple Her Inevitableness, I’d rather see her get the nod. But I think she’s going to blow it.

If the story turned out to be right, well that’s different, but it’s in the Enquirer and that weakens the story’s plausibility from the start. If you’re going to plant, find less tainted soil.

The Enquirer put a factual hurting on Bill re: Monica and I doubt Hillary would be plowing that particular field. If half of that piece is true, we may be looking at one of the most hilarious political flameouts in modern history.

Either way, I think a Democrat’s going to get elected next year. But there’s a bright side to that.
