That’s nothing compared to last time, when he started making all the crudest remarks he could about her appearance. I had hoped he had been banned. If he had been, it apparently expired a couple days ago, and already the level of discussion has tumbled down the mountain.

You’re losing it. The anti-Fred responses are a response to the loony Fred worship. Ergo, it is acceptable. I watched the video and what Allah calls “shrewd” I call polite. Fred Thompson thanks his supporters. Period. And the ending with the hat—ever hear of tongue-in-cheek?

Insulting those of us who appreciate Fred Thompson’s qualities by saying we “wet ourselves” is uncalled for. It is also elitism which is a close relation of ignorance.

Personally I am more interested in Mitt Romney with Fred a close second. I do not care what shoes Fred wears. And I sure as hell have nothing against cowboy hats. Cattle or no cattle.
