I like Rudy in this clip. I don't think he will win because his positions are outside of what America wants. He wanted to grant government medical insurance to people in NY just like the SChip program. He's a good guy, I just don't think he's right for president.

People talk about how a candidate speaks to them. When Rudy talks about fighting this enemy he speaks to me. That is why, despite disagreeing on some important issues, Rudy has been at the top of my list. This is the fight of my lifetime, and I want Rudy leading the fight. Throw Duncan Hunter in as VP, and we could be assured of living in a “9-12 Country” for at least four more years.

Rudy did good here in this interview. But I think his strategy of campaigning in Missouri instead of the first few states is going to backfire. Iowa can be a throw away, but the others aren’t at all. If he finishes below Ron Paul in any of those states, how can he consider himself credible enough to serve as the nominee of the WHOLE country? Not winning is one thing. . . coming in last is something altogether different.

Bush didn’t win New Hampshire, but he was second. Clinton didn’t win New Hampshire the first time either, but he was second. You can’t just finish last in the first states and expect the spotlight to be on you. But he’s a novice in this unique presidential election game. He’ll learn the hard way.

But honestly, I think it’s going to be a D year whoever it is. That’s not what I want, but the economy is going to be bad for a while anyway. Whoever is president will suffer for it as the government won’t have as much money. My fear is the D will cut military spending, but we have the missile defense shield so that should make us mostly safe anyway.

Rudy brought up an interesting point about Iran. Most people are forgetting that the NIE basically proves that not only was Iran actively engaging in a military nuclear program but that it was obviously scared shitless of the overwhelming success we had in toppling Saddam in 2 weeks.

Sticks work, carrots do not.

When they mention “flawed intelligence” as justification, I wish Rudy or whoever would come back with the rest of the justifications that ignore or have forgotten. Much of it’s mentioned in the Iraq War Resolution and at documented at husseinandterror.com

Not to mention that Saddam committed multiple acts of war against us for a decade, harbored 93 WTC terrorist, offered Bin Laden assylum in 1999, etc.

Rudy is working the states with Feb 5th primaries. Huck doesn’t score in those races, Mitt does. So Rudy’s opponent is Mitt, not Huck and there is no reason for him to lash out at Huck right now.

Upside down world, Rudy is the ‘fascist’, while their guy is emphatically supported by self-described Nazis/Fascist(ron paul)
