Geeez I wish this country would wake up. Our congress is owned, lock-stock-and barrel, by the multinational corporations. Norman Rockwell’s America is not only dead but its corps is being raped as we watch and congress cheers.

There’s not one of these jay-bird presidential contenders not itching to get onto the multinational payroll and into their good graces. That’s where power lies.

It’s going to take more than voting to get this country cleaned up.

DUDE! Hunter can only do so much. He got sold out, plain and simple. He is of the few consistant Rep’s on illegal aliens and border security. To lump him in with the other POS’ there is totally unfair. Until one of the POS’ has a family member hurt by an illegal alien it will be an up hill fight.

Have you called your Congressperson & Senator? I know I have. We must maintain the pressure! If you haven’t, quit your bitching until you do. Program your cell with their DC office number and call them next time your waiting in the Starbucks line. Or sign up with NumbersUSA and they will email you when this kind of crap happens so you can email, fax & call ASAP. No excuses.

Seems the phrase “Of the People, By the People, For the People” from the Gettysburg Address. It’s now “Of the Corporation, By the Corporation, For the Corporation.” The people are now irrelavant. They (congress…) no longer fear losing their jobs as there are far too many people that vote blindly.

(You can substitute “special interests” in place of “Corporation” if you like).

Cornyn and Hutchinson do not care about their constituents. I don’t know who’s lining their pockets but obviously that is more important to them than what we the people want. I did not vote for Hutchinson last time around because I knew what she was…I did not vote for the Democrat either, I just left that section blank. She still won but now I’m thinking in the future that at least if I vote for a Dem I can see the knife coming.

Righteous rant. But take a mosey around the blogs and all you’ll see are lazy cop-outs. “He’s just not electable…no one knows who he is…” Meh

Nevermind that the blogs themselves could’ve changed that – blogs (with talk radio) could’ve put a Real Conservative in place if they had put their collective will to it (like defeating Shamnesty). But no – with few exceptions, they were too busy trying to out-snark each other by making fun of Tancredo and Hunter. Too cool, right?

WTF are you talking about? Now it’s Hunter’s fault that his own bill was gutted?? FYI, that was Hunter’s legislation that he muscled through Congress – that Hutchison and Cornyn and the rest of ‘em sold out. Hunter did every human thing possible to save it – it was HIS bill, fer pete’s sake!!

Medved would seem to be on the same email distribution lists that Senator Hutchison is on. The RINOs all seem to focus on the Republicans who mean business on immigration — and to know when to shoot them down.

Nethicus, the media decides who is the front runners, not us. Whoever they give the most camera time and name mentions to is who leads the pack. Hence Bob Dole and John McCain. The voters ultimately decide, hence Bush, but the media steers us the way THEY want us to go.

I agree with ya there Neth … Hunter and Tancredo are the best of the line up, if either were state govenors, they’d have a chance.
