actually I did yesterday, couldn’t get close enough to see if he was a paultard or not?

the paultards I saw were at corner of Harris and Mallard Creek, trespassing on Private Party like good libertarians. They had “Google Ron Paul” and some other signs with an American Flag they were waiving.

Its a cult.

I live in Raleigh. Is anyone else’s city under seige from crappy-ass homemade “Ron Paul 2008″ signs?

I liked having him in Congress, but his foreign policy ideas are really quite dangerous.

My feeling after watching the Beck show last night was that Ron Paul did not want to make enemies with his truther pals. He wants the truther vote.

I’ve read that reason link before because it says Dondero was fired. Dondero himself gives this tale:

I resigned not once, but twice from Ron Paul’s Congressional staff. The first time was in 2001, after his lackluster response to 9/11.

Tom Lizardo (I think I still even have his original email to me on this), and Ron Paul tracked me down in Tampico, Mexico, and implored me to come back to work. I agreed for a temporary come back.

After that they showered me with bonuses to keep me on staff. $10,000 at one point.

The second time I had had enough. Ron told me that I needed to support his position on Iraq, “or else.”

Or else what? I told him “no.” And he didn’t do squat. Then 10 months later, Tom said my position was really making Ron uncomfortable, and making his position with Ron as my friend, very dicey. So, as to appease my friend, I resigned.

But I went out the door with yet another $10,000 bonus 2 months later.

If that’s the definition of “being fired” I’ll take it.

(Oh, if you want to be technical and everything, I did officially send Ron a letter in December of that year telling him of my intention to resign.)

anyone as morally deluded as Paul on national security and the nature of the Jihadist, will get my scorn. We did not ’cause’ 9/11 in anyway. Sura 9:5 and 9:29 did not to mention the 1300 years of history and Islamic teachings that back that up. There is nothing more important than this issue

He talked about WWII either on Glenn becks show today or on one of the other shows today. He stated his position clearly and very well. No one is trying to get you to vote for him, but you are overstating the “kookiness” by leaps and bounds. Look at a list of his positions, and tell me you dont agree with 90-95 percent of them. I agree with him oon 95% of the issues he talks about, more so than any other candidate. Also, he has a record of being an honest guy and has NEVER flip flopped from what I can see.

As I discussed with you in another thread, I dont agree with what he said there. I DO think he meant that the reason we are STILL in Afghanistan is because of the oil pipeline, and not as one of the reasons to go in. As evidence of this fact, he voted to go into Afghanistan. However, he said what he said, and taking his words as they are, they are wrong.

If paul did not know the caller was a truther idiot that thinks the Govt. or some other wild conspiracy in which Jihadist didn’t do it…..then he is not only stupid, even more unfit for command.

You take things out of context, you listen ONLY to what people tell you to listen to. If you would listen to his speeches, go on youtube and watch the HOURS of material he has on there, you will understand what he is saying. Obviously he isnt aware of the group of idiots associating themselves with him. It was made quite clear in this video.

Care to point out an instance?

If Paul is in control of his campaign then he has to know about the perfect storm of idiocy he’s attracted. Since he’s not willing to do more than a wink and a nod in response, that suggests to me that he’s willing to pander to a disturbing subset of our country because they have money to donate.

On the other hand, if he’s truly ignorant of the crazy following him around, then he’s not exactly the guy I trust to serve as the CinC, among other things.

Either one doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence as to his ability to be President.
