Video: The best three minutes in television history

I was planning to save it for Christmas Eve, but what can I say? I’m overcome by the spirit of the season.

If you were touched by that Christmas gift video this afternoon, wait until you see Harrison Ford emoting in front of a giant man dressed like a space ape.

Look at the way Leia’s gazing up into Chewbacca’s eyes. I guess it’s true…once you go Wookie, you crave no other nookie.

“…once you go Wookie, you crave no other nookie.” – James

BWAHAHAHAHAhahahahaaaaa

That’s friggin’ funny! A buddy of mine from Texas had never tried TastyKake (Philly) so I bought him one. Later that week he bought some more and said “Once you go Tasty, there is no other pastry.” :-)

But…I thought I dreamed this! It was real?
I have to lay down.

I think C3PO is the only one wishing he was a real boy so he could “feel” the emotions of the season. I, for one, am cursing my mortal neurons right now!

Well, I am quite glad that I managed to make it through the 70s without ever seeing this…ouch ouch ouch.

It makes the rest of the time-tested Christmas holiday programs look darned good, though.

/are you SURE this wasn’t a farce?

Oofff! I think I must have blocked this tragic event from my childhood memories…..

lol, I heard even George Lucas said he wanted to track down every copy of this and destroy them with an axe.

You know it’s really bad when even George Lucas thinks so.

I vaguely remember this and I’m sure, at 5 years old in the 1970’s, I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. But now it scares the bejeebers out me and makes me cringe more than the scariest horror movie imaginable.

Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers & Jason would run away screaming from this in horror.
