I could not agree more. Huck would win maybe 15 states agree the Hillary machine. Huck’s campaign is a complete mess. His whole campaign is “I’m a minister. Vote for me!”
Total disorganization, lack of funding, miscue after miscue. Hillary is licking her chops.

God I’m glad I switched to independent. No longer will I have to be disappointed in my party when it loses yet another election.

Remember, if the media likes the candidate, you should vote opposite. Hillary will crush that dimwitted fool Huckabee, it will be no contest. Her oppo team will destroy him and the jesus freak vote will not save him.

I’m a lot less worried about his flip flops than I am about what he’s consistent on. And I’m an evangelical Christian, social con. His concept of foreign policy scares me to death.

If the national front-runner weren’t a social liberal, the Huckster wouldn’t even be registering on the radar.

What I want to know is: What do all of you (Rudy supporters mostly) who claimed that social cons weren’t all that important to the Republican vote have to say now?

Huck is truly a gift from God. He fractures the SoCons. He cannot compete nationally so he is no long term threat, but in the meantime he is going to make sure that no one candidate wins more than one state before Rudy takes Florida. No one other than Rudy will have momentum going into Super Duper Ultra mega Tuesday.

I will not get afraid until Huck leads in Florida…

I’m already, mostly there, except what JiangxiDad told me once, “You just haven’t taken off the ring.” Well, as for political ideology, I am about 75% conservative/republican and 25% democratic(I don’t believe that percentage is liberal). Perhaps independent is the best way to go, I am unsure at this point. I will sit out the primary, and see who the Republican candidate is in the general, and vote accordingly. Hope I won’t have to “hold my nose”, to do so.

The comment about the Huckster’s rise reinforcing the stereotype of evangelical Christians as morons is dead on.

I don’t like it either and agree with you- however just as many here have a “anyone but Hillary” mentality, there’s a strong “any nominee but Rudy” mentality in social con circles. I have to think a “Rudy backlash” factor has at least something to do with Huckster’s recent rise in the polls.

That and style seems to rule substance, and Huck speaks well, cracks jokes and seems like such a gosh darn nice guy. And the flip flops? Well, it’s not like he’s the first…
