Grim milestone: GOP launches first attack ad featuring Hillary

Grim for the Democrats, of course, not for us. The target is Robin Weirauch, who’s unexpectedly making a race of it in the special election for the open congressional seat in Ohio. There’s an old joke about sex in advertising that says eventually the product will become so secondary to the sex that ads will feature a photo of a naked woman and the company slogan, and that’s it. If we’re lucky enough to get the Glacier at the top of the ticket next year, the NRCC’s attacks on congressional Democratic candidates will consist of nothing more than this image with the appropriately sinister music voiceover and music.
Watch this before you watch the ad. Heh.

The music is from “Last of the Mohicans.” Beautiful score; I wouldn’t have picked it for “foreboding” music, but I guess it works reasonably well as long as it doesn’t have you picturing Daniel Day Lewis.

She does not support “Right to Life” but definitely looks like she is a member of PETA People Eating Tasty Animals and has not been sharing her meals with those crossing the boarder via the river while she drives across the bridge.
