Drudge: NBC caves on Freedom’s Watch ads

A no-brainer. They can get away with sending Olbermann out every night to deliver the Two Minutes Hate because they know the left will defend them. The left can’t defend this; it’s too big a risk for too little a reward, and so down NBC goes. Although if it’s any comfort, I’m sure it’ll make for a humdinger of a Special Comment next week, when Olby explains how dismissing and denying at every opportunity the progress made by American troops in Iraq is the way real patriots show their thanks. All while swiveling dramatically towards different cameras at carefully choreographed preset cues, of course. Odds that this will be mentioned: Absolute zero.
Here’s Newt from yesterday’s Big Story laying NBC out. Er, I thought he and Gore agreed on global warming.

I would call for a boycott of the MSM, but it appears as if a boycott of the MSM has been going on for a decade.

I think he’ll take his bravest stance yet, and attack the network he’s on. I suspect some “police state” crap, about how the Bush administration has scared everyone and questioned their patriotism and put the big boot on the throat of poor little NBC and forced them to change their position. “But I won’t be silenced!”… Something like that.

My boycott of NBC will continue as long as they have Olberhater and Chris Hater spewing their venom plus the biased network news night after night. Enough is enough. Dishonorable is an understatement for NBC.

My dad still watches NBC news, even after my repeated attempts to point out how left wing they are.
So now I spend a great deal of time correcting mis-information on subjects that he has absorbed.
He will agree with me, and say “yes, they are a left leaning network” then he keeps on watching.
Drives me nuts!!!!!!!!

I droppsed a “go to Hell” note to their boss, John Kelly, yesterday after getting his email from a posting from one of your readers.
We constantly hear everyone on the left say the hate the war but support the troops, yet I did not hear one single left-wing politician condemn NBC for its action, although they found the time to condemn Rush.
Enlightening.

There are only three legitmate reasons to employ the military.
1. Deliver relief supplies while cameras film the politicians who sent them.
2. Transport members of congress to and from where ever congress goes to and from from.
3. Kick in a citizen’s door who disagrees with the government.
All war is bad. Period. Get used to seeing the U.S.S. MealsOnWheels pulling up to a third world country near you.

I will guess that NBC had their butts whopped by GE - The word is that soon the boom will fall at NBC and MSNBC - layoffs - firings. It is apparent that GE has more to lose!

If Red Skelton was still around,with his great recording
of the”Pledge of Alligience”,a great American and actor,
I’m sure he’ed have something to say about,NBC!
Newt is another American,a history teacher,and he is dead on
accurate,what did NBC take from the ad that would insult
everyday joe American,was it “Merry Christmas”,or should it
been “Happy Holiday”,maybe not.

On the bright side, NBC only has two programs worth thinking about watching, anyway; “Heroes” and “The Office” (those with consciences, of course, already boycott “Sunday Night Football”).
The strike-truncated second season of “Heroes” was so bad I’m willing to judge the show no longer watchable (assuming it comes back for a third season). And I guess “The Office” will just have to be a sacrifice. NBC can consider itself dumped (if they like, they can think of me as “NBC-neutral”).

Hopefully Americans won’t self-destruct. They have already shown their willingness to protect our borders by passing legislation in their respective states. This will be a show-down between the federal government and the state governments. If the state governments win, then America wins. The federal government has proven itself incompetent in governing itself as well as the states. It is time to revoke the 17th Amendment. The Federal government has too damn much authority and it must be stopped and now. It is starting with immigration and will move on to education, etc., all of which the federal government has no constitutional right to legislate and which the states only have the right to affect any change.

GE has earned billions and billions in government and military contracts, even going back to WWII. To let NBC be a leftwing socialist news outlet that is against America’s own interests is just shocking. I think GE has gone on long enough as an entity. I’m considering getting rid of my GE appliances and going with China knock offs. At least they are honest about hating America.

A marginalised trash station that airs nothing but trash. Their only remaining viewers are the ones that like that kind of thing and the NBC knows it. With this they’re pandering to their trashy public and simultaneously getting all this free publicity “There is no such thing as negative publicity” is obviously what they’re banking on.

Opps.. I forgot. We are in the process of redoing our house. The roof, painting, and so forth. Now hear this GE ! In the kitchen we got $5000 worth of Refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave and the usual tile and stone floor and countertop.
YOU CAN BE SURE THAT NOT ONE ITEM HAS THE “GE” TRADEMARK ON ANY ONE OF THE REPLACED ITEMS. Bang, bang, knock, knock. Do you hear this or read this; anyone at GE.

Liberals are the enemy within. NBC and the rest of the MSM are just the propaganda arm of the far left/socialist/communist left that want to see America destroyed. They have been lying to the American public and manufacturing/slanting “news” for years. I am glad to see that finally, people are beginning to wake up to this. I quit watching NBC many years ago because of thier slant.
