I wonder where Roger Cohen of the New York Times is today. Cohen is one of the ultraliberals from the 1960s who saves all of his outrage for the US and Israel. Only last week, Cohen wrote of how he was ashamed of Israel and how he identifies with the Palestinians. Cohen wrote that Israel has a horrendous human rights record and he wrote how Israel embarrassed him. Yet, I think it is a certainty that Cohen (and others at the Times like Dowd, Kristof and Anthony Lewis, if he is still around) will never show any outrage at Iran executing someone for the “crime” of being gay. For Cohen and his colleagues at the Times, they have so much invested in their narrative of evil Israel and evil America that they can never let facts get in the way of their worldview that they developed in the 1960s when they were young and that they were actually important.

*Note: I refuse to call them the “pro-gay left”, since I don’t know a lot of people who hate gays, or would think of themselves as “anti-gay”. They’re the anti-American left, more than anything else.

I’d be tempted to say “yes”, but since the court decision was totally ignored…and I’ll guess this isn’t (or won’t be) an isolated case…I’d have to say “no”.

Mr. King is the deep pockets of socialism in Maine. Along with other money that pours into a poor state from radical Liberal causes, his loony wife fronts all sorts of projects including a shelter for runaways that is a magnet for drug dealers, bad kids, and sexual predators.

With all of their wealth and fame, their own kids are tragic examples of poor parenting touting existentialism on steroids.

Mr. King should stick to promoting evil (including political hacks like Governor Baldacci) for the sake of large cash rewards while keeping his yap zipped when it comes to the real world and parents that actually “parent” their children
