I finally watched the video – the man behind him, when he first used the s-word spoke 1000 words without saying anything; then he let his head hang low. The entire entourage and their behaviour during/after the speech remind me of one Saddam Hussein. Remember him?

LOL, yeah, me thinks Chavez got an “Abbey Normal” brain!

Mel Brooks is the man, he hasn’t done much lately but he sure had a string of them, like Blazing Saddles (which would never be re-made nowdays as the PC police would be up in arms) and History of the World Part 1.

Speaking of History of the World part 1, there’s a scene in that movie from the French Revolution that reminds me of something Chavez would say:

Chavez Aid: El Presidente, the people of Venezuela are revolting!

I’m glad to see not everyone forgot about that monster, I remember when the news broke about all those children that monster had in institutions labeled as “irrecoverable” because they didn’t meet his standards of a master race.

It was sickening to say the least to see those children in those conditions. Not only did they not have adequate clothing, food, and shelter they didn’t even have parents or anyone to provide love and emotional nurturing, in fact they were wallowing in their own feces.

I was so moved by their plight I volunteered to help an organization called “Touch Romania” to help send them needed supplies. I even got the company I worked for at the time to allow us to use their warehouse and shipping supplies to help ship all the donations.

That experience by far has been the most gratifying and rewarding moment in my 44 years, especially when on that very Christmas eve I saw a news report showing all those children getting those very supplies (lots of toys, food, and clothing) just in time for Christmas.

I have the news report on video and watch it every Christmas, it never fails to bring a tear to my eye and joy to my heart.
