Fine, then I’ve got a question. What’s with the attitude that believes that all motivations and actions are initiated by free-thought actions in the Western world, and all actions by the non-Western World are simply “reactions”?

Why is the presumption that all series of actions have a cause in the Western world, and an effect in the non-Western world?

Isn’t it possible eventually that something could initiate in the non-Western nations, or do they not have free will? Isn’t it possible that American, or other western nations actions could be caused by a root cause somewhere else, or does only America have this “free will” required to initiate actions and events?

Because if every action has a root cause in the U.S. then we’re simply calling the rest of the world unthinking reactions to U.S. free-willed actions aren’t we?

Given the presumptions behind the question, isn’t this a racist, elitist and condescending point of view? I thought Republicans were supposed to be the racist ones, or did I miss when that changed?

Oh well, maybe some day Liberals will believe that other nations might have thinking people capable of their own actions, and their own responsibilities. Until then, all blame must (eventually) fall on U.S. because all chains of events must be initiated here.

Is this really a tolerant and accepting view of other cultures?

Bernard Lewis, the Princeton professor emeritus of Middle Eastern history, says that the Muslim objection to America is that, in their view, it is wrong for non-Muslims to hold power over Muslims. This view was put simply by Zacarius Massoui in his trial in Virginia for participation in the Sep 11 plot when he was asked why he wanted to attack America. He replied that it was wrong for America to be the superpower, that Islam should be the superpower.

The Muslims hate us out of simple bigotry, ie they believe their religion should rule the world and all other ways of thought – religious, political, philosophical – are blasphemy which must be annihilated. You can see this at work when Muslims come in contact with non-Muslims anywhere in the world. Muslims seek always to dominate other groups, not cooperate. Muslims always make war on their hosts and neighbors, where ever they go in the world. They simply accept no non-Muslims.

For the best example of this, take the case of Saudi Arabia. No nation in human history has benefitted more from another nation than Saudi Arabia has benefitted from the US. We lifted them up from abject poverty into luxury, built their country including the road net, electrical infrastructure, financial management, communications, health care, and countless other elements of infrastructure. Normal humans would have grateful for such generosity, yet Saudis are driven to hate Americans by their Wahhabi indoctrination. Our generosity to the Saudis simply enabled their pathology, gave them the money to attack us. The inhuman response of the Saudi Wahhabis was to mass murder Americans and celebrate their deaths.

The Islamic world does not recognize any good deed done by America, but rather spins anything America does in the most negative way possible. It’s like pouring sugar on a fire ant mound. The fire ants don’t send you a thank you note for all that nice sugar you dropped on them. They use that sugar to make more fire ants to bite the hell out of you. In their view, fire ants must rule the world.

You are a Democratic Candidate for President, your opposition to the war in Iraq is public and well known, and you are trying to score “points” with your far left constituency. Standing next to you is your father’s brother, Sam. Now, Sam is just kind of standing around. Sam is about 6 foot 4, 285 lbs, built like a fullback. Sam’s got the reputation of being the last man standing in a bar fight, and he’s just come come home for a particularly vicious bar fight. He needs R&R.

A small, thin, wiry man, weighing maybe all of 105 lbs, and not over 5′2″ tall, steps out of the crowd and walks up to Sam. With out saying or telegraphing a thing, the guy slugs Sam in the solar plexus. Sam, being a weight trainer and very fit, would normally have tensed his stomach muscles if he knew it was coming, but he is totally unprepared — Sam simply wasn’t paying attention to the wiry man, you see. So. Sam is stunned, out of breath, and he has sunk to his knees. He’s not seriously hurt, mind you. Just stunned with the breath knocked out of him. He begins to get to his feet, his face purple with fury.

You turn to him and say, “Sam, don’t hit him back. Look at him, he’s probably mad at you because you took the parking spot he wanted. Peace brother! It’s wrong to retaliate.”

Sam, conscious of the disdainful looks your compatriots are giving him, does not strike back. Instead he nods and simply says between gasps, “Forgive me, I didn’t know that I offended you.”

The wiry man, on the other hand, feels emboldened. After all, he just sucker-punched Big Sam and made him drop to his knees. So, wiry man reaches into his pocket, puts something over his hand, and hits Sam hard in the face, dropping him like a poleaxed ox.

The wiry man was wearing “brass knuckles,” you see, allowing him the ability to really hurt Sam with this one punch.

Sam is unconscious with a concussion and a broken jaw. Half the teeth on the side where wiry man hit are broken or knocked out. As Sam struggles to regain consciousness, again you say to him: “don’t hit him back, you’re above all that.” Sam, being groggy, simply shrugs, wincing in pain, and attempts to stand up.

Finally, Sam struggles dizzily to his feet. He’s hurt pretty bad, now. Sam knows that the wiry man is still standing there, but he just can’t focus his eyes, and barely sees the wiry man pull a knife.

Striking like a cobra, the wiry man steps forward, and slits Sam’s throat from ear to ear.

As the final blackness overtakes Sam, he sees the wiry man turn to you, with his bloody knife raised high, and hears him shout “Allah Ackbar,” and begin the killing stroke.

Sam’s last thought is how stupid he was to let you talk him out of pounding the wiry guy into the pavement when he the chance, when he was still capable of fighting. Now, you, his nephew, are going to die and there is nothing he can do about it.

Your last thought as he begins to slit your throat is “Uncle Sam, help!!”

You already know the moral to this story, Democrats.

Muslims (most are decent people) don’t hate us one bit. They are coming to the USA at an increasing rate, taking advantage of our freedoms, jobs, and relative peace.

They don’t hate us, their MASTERS (Imams, Clerics, Sheikhs, etc. hate us.)

Islam is more than religion, it is a political ideology that wields a sword.

Of course the liberals spout on about Christendom as if it is still a menace today, forgetting all the reformations that have happened the last 300 years…

The question I have is, Why don’t Americans hate Islam more? We have exercised enormous restraint when dealing with the atrocities of the Religion of Peace.

Ultimately, I don’t care why Muslims hate us–I am not about to change myself, or my country, in an effort to please them. In the battle between Islam and the West, only one of us can win, and it’s not going to be them as long as I can do anything about it.

That is very well said, and I was thinking the same thing about the Dhimmicrats. It’s a bizarre, self-destructive thing, they’re just chasing their tails with the “Why do muslims hate us” crap. No one who can tie their own shoe laces wouldn’t be able to figure it out. They’re being deliberately obtuse and why? I should ask my Dad sometime, though I dread talking politics with him, he’s gone so far left it scares me sometimes.

Reality is the greatest threat to Liberalism, not Conservatives. When reality comes crashing in, and Liberals are forced to see the consequences of their half baked ideas, their first response is to blame someone else for them. Normally, the people who get blamed will be the ones who said their ideas would never work in the first place, but since the Libs hate them, they make a convenient scapegoat. That might sound like an oxymoron, blaming others who said your ideas would not work after they have been proved right and your ideas did not work, but it far easier for Liberals to lash out in overly emotional incoherence than admit they might have ever made a mistake.

Speaking of 52 American hostages, Iran, venue of President Carter’s last diplomatic victory for Liberalism’s cause, is going to develop nuclear weapons, as well. This time, the Bush Administration is doing what the Liberals want, and engaging in multilateral negotiations with a country that is the wellspring of global international terrorism. Not to be the pessimist, but they are not going to work. Iran is doing to pursue the development of nuclear weapons until either they have them, or someone destroys their nuclear production capabilities. We can stand around and negotiate forever, and this fact will not change. Liberals like to pretend that negotiations are an end unto themselves. That somehow, if we talk long enough, and give a hostile enemy concession after concession, peace will mysteriously erupt. The fact that negotiating with rogue regimes is no more effective today than it was in the days of Neville Chamberlain is lost on Liberals. Faced with the reality that the problem is not Iran’s poverty, infrastructure, or need for alternative fuel sources, but the radical terrorist regime running it, Liberals have once again chosen to blame Bush and the United States, in general, for objecting to Iran’s desire to “wipe Israel off the map.”
Liberals are not only ignoring the consequences of their previous decisions, but arrogantly proceeding down another reckless course that will only end in disaster. Just as “The New York Times” has decided there will be no negative consequences to their divulging America’s innermost secrets in how it fight the war on terror, simply because they have decided there will not be any, the international community is gambling that their failed methods of the past will somehow now work with Iran and North Korea. My question is, how many millions will have to die before the Liberals admit they were wrong.

Europe is already well on its way to being predominantly Muslim. It will be by the end of the century.

The question of whether or not Europe will become predominantly Muslim will be settled long before mid-century one way or another. A pertinent question is whether the US will side with the Muslims or the Europeans in the coming conflict.

Does Muslim hate violate the rules of space and time?

Of course! Jeez, Bryan, you really don’t understand just how much they hate us.

Seriously, though, it’s okay not to challenge the premise. They hate us because Osama thought it was an insult for non-Muslims to defend Muslims, especially defending “corrupt” improperly religious Muslims (Saudis, Afghans, Hashemites) and/or defending against “pure” theocratic Muslims (Taliban, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood). That’s why it goes back to around 1920, before even Bush’s dad was born.

One of the names that ought to come up in discussions of the sort the Democrats engaged in is Sayyid Qutb. He’s the Egyptian who came to America in the late 1940s, witnessed decadent sock hops in Colorado, and declared us all more or less worthy of death.

I find it ironic that in Sayyid’s mind, and all jihadists after him, we’re the decadent and self-absorbed society.

And yet it is Islam that promises an afterlife paradise full of wine and affluence and 72 virgins waiting to fulfill the martyr’s every carnal desire.

All you have to do is kill unbelievers and die in the process to get it.

But we’re the decadent and morally repugnant ones.

Oops, guess I just got myself on the “Infidels to Behead List” for questioning Islam. Wait, first CAIR will sue me, than the Sudanese backed jihadists will behead me.

While I’m at it, all my teddy bears are named Mohammed too.

This goes beyond our domestic political battles.

This brand of Western guilt over who and what we are will eventually destroy us.

The Western world is losing the will to stand up for what it is.

Multiculturalism really means denying your own cultural roots, and stating the falsehood that all cultures are equal.

It is the Western world, founded on Judeo-Christian values, that has created freedom and prosperity in the world.

But the left will continue to erode our sense of pride in who and what we are as a civilization until one day, we’ll wake up, and we won’t have a civilization anymore.

Europe is already well on its way to being predominantly Muslim. It will be by the end of the century.

And the U.S.A. will find itself as the last beacon for what the West once was.

Sometimes I am terrified at the world my children will live in, if we do not change our ways. If we do not stop the “Blame America First” attitude, and start standing up for the greatest nation the world has ever seen.

Very simple NPR & Democratic candidates. Because their religion is so intolerant that we only have two choices: convert to their religion or die.

See, that wasn’t so hard, but I only have 1500 years of to back it up. Is that enough?
