If CNN had any intention of being fair, it would have invited the Brigadier General to the Democratic candidate debate and had him ask this question to Hillary Clinton: “You said that you were an integral part of the Clinton administation and were involved in key decisions. The “don’t ask-don’t tell” policy that the Clinton administration adopted was opposed by gay groups because it forced gay men and women to hide their sexual orientation. Do you think that Bill Clinton was correct to adopt a policy of forcing gay men and women to hide their sexual pereference if they wished to serve in the military?”

Question 2: “When Bill Clinton ran for president he stated that he would allow gay men and women to openly serve in the military. After he became president, he refused to honor his campaign pledge. Do you think that President Clinton was correct to go back on his pledge?

Either CNN and the Democrat activists’ brain waves are in near-perfect sync — a remarkable case of group think — or CNN knew exactly what they were doing.

Given that MainScream Media people are 90% Democrats, the group-think is a given. The CNN people chose questions that fit their own worldviews. There is no reason to assume a Vast Left Wing Conspiracy here. They don’t have to conspire; they just have to be themselves; the rest comes naturally.

I’m sorry, Michelle, cnn did do due dilligence, including Grover Nordquist, before airing all this. Their intention was to damage as many of the republican candidates as possible. Nordquist being in there was just a red herring to fall back on. Out of thousands of videos submitted, only one thoughtful question? And they accidently pick six (or possibly as many as nine) wackjob leftist activists?No way, I don’t believe it. I bet there are regulars here on Hot Air who submitted videos. They tried to walk the line as careful as possible, choose as many landmines for the candidates as possible without being overly blatant. And if anyone thinks cooper wasn’t involved in the conspiracy, you are fooling yourself.

At the Democratic debate, the questioners were all liberals planted by CNN. The typical planted guest was the lady from the Culinary Workers Union who asked a softball question to Obama. Obama began his answer by saying “Thank you for the work you do for the culinary workers”. The woman had not identified herself as a union official for the culinary workers. So obviously, CNN and Obama both knew in advance that the woman would be a questioner at the debate.
CNN’s political director says that CNN is fair and balanced: We provide liberal questions and liberal questioners for both Democrats and Republicans alike.

Come on folks! This was CNN. What did you expect? Look at the material CNN chooses to broadcast. Look at the material CNN believes to be news. Who do you think will be attracted to that material, and that viewpoint? Why were you shocked to find liberal democrat activists in the audience?

The point I found most telling was when Rush pointed out that the questions selected would be difficult for Republican candidates to answer, and those answers would be, could be, embarrassing for the Republican party. A point picked up on, and expanded by others, with Peggy Noonan’s column making the case that running away from these questions would be as bad as answering them badly.

Out of all the problems we face, right now, the one problem with the greatest repercussions is the divide between left and right. Someone, some where, some how, had better find a way to neutralize the radical left, and calm those of us on the right, before we destroy ourselves.
