I love Ben Stein and he is certainly a very smart and credible guy. Definitely a patriot and fairly conservative. However, I do not like it when he talks about higher taxes. Not good for the economy. I'll vote for Bolton.

Since Ben Stein gives money to leftists (Franken) to help them destroy America, why shouldn't he interject himself into the race for president and try to take votes away from the GOP? It might match his history at this point.

<blockquote>The rest of the movie is not really funny and it is dated but that Stein scene in priceless. It is something every former high school student can identify with.

Not ... really ... funny?

Gasp. Blasphemy!

If you thought that was the only funny scene in the movie ... dear God. Are you an economist?

Abe Froman? Dirty Harry? Save Ferris? Translation: the game is up? Not to mention Mia Sara in her underwear?

There isn't a second of that movie that isn't entertainment gold.

Good day, sir!

<blockquote>Let’s not forget Ben Stein’s hilarious debut in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Mr. Stein played the excruciating boring high school teacher with the monotone who was lecturing bored high school kids on a warm and sunny day about “The Smoot Hawley Tariff and the Laffer Curve” while the kids were squirming in their seats. Check out the scene from the movie on DVD. The rest of the movie is not really funny and it is dated but that Stein scene in priceless. It is something every former high school student can identify with.</blockquote>

You might want to do some reading up about they got interviews for his new Creation/Anti-Science film '<a href="http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2007/08/im_gonna_be_a_movie_star.php" rel="nofollow">Expelled</a>'. And in the recently shown trailer for the film he actually compares himself to Galileo, I guess he forgot what happened to him.

<blockquote>To be honest, Ben Stein is a really intelligent guy with a history of important positions in Washington. Valedictorian at Yale Law, speechwriter for Nixon ...

Yup. I'd likely vote for him, if he could convince he had the leadership qualities to go with his skills and experience.

Ben Stein has a documentary coming out next year called "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" dealing with the virtual blackout by evolutionists of any dissent or serious inquiry into the theory of evolution.

Stein has been a lawyer, actor, and speechwriter for Ford and Nixon, so he's no slouch.

As much as I support increases for our military, Stein sometimes stretches the line to a point where if you went by his assessment alone, you could easily believe that every member of the military lives in squalor and poverty. Don't get me wrong though, Ben Stein is a very intelligent man and would do better in office than the majority of our representatives now...

To be honest, Ben Stein is a really intelligent guy with a history of important positions in Washington. Valedictorian at Yale Law, speechwriter for Nixon, written numerous books and articles on economics and many other issues for a number of newspapers and respected periodicals. I can't see why he couldn't be prez.
