Gawd…is this for real? A news item covering the IRC teaching international law to “hooded gunmen” from “Palestinian armed factions” sounds more like something I’d see in The Onion.

This is completely bizarro-world. I can imagine the intro to the course: “We’re here not to judge the reasons that you fight [ahem wink nudge wink] but to assist you in understanding the rules so that you might fight fairly [wink wink.]”

So basically they’re helping murderous outlaw militia groups legitimize themselves legally and politically. Wonderful.
