The single greatest series of videos on the web to promote a kitchen appliance…. (And yes, I know it’s likely the only such series… )
I really loved it when they put an ipod in the blender… But the Turkey day blend is a classic, right up their with the 9-iron.
When I grow up and can afford it, I’ll buy one of their blenders, just to reward their years of internet entertainment!

Love Will It Blend? What a great ad campaign. I thought the glowsticks were neat, and of course the lighters.

We have one of those blenders at the house and it’s phenomenal. We make baby food in it so it’ll pay for itself in a little over a year. I make whole wheat flour from wheat grain in the Blendtec as well as whole juice. It’s awesome. It’s been helping me lose weight this year, 39 lbs so far. I highly recommend it.

Uh, did he blend bone? If so, doesn’t sound so tasty.

I used to think the “Will it blend” was cool until I saw all the criticism, mostly how they use camera cuts to trick the audience.
In this case, there is clearly a camera cut between the end of the blending, and the pouring. It is obvious that the bone was not successfully blended, so during this cut, they removed the bone, but covered that up and made it seems like the whole thing was blended into liquid, bone and all.
Since the bone was the only element that would not be easy to blend in ANY blender, this particular video is unimpressive to say the least.
There is another video out there of him blending a rake. It looks pretty impressive. Then when he tried to reproduce this in front of a live audience at a convention, the blender failed and burned out when trying to blend the rake.

If they didn’t have a 1 minute intro, I would now know if it would blend. I had to assume it would blend, and click it off.

The obligatory gross blender jokes are not here. Whats black and red, and goes around and around in a blender.

The BlendTec blender is tough, but it’s not tougher than Chuck Norris!

Oh! trust me the government has a blender that would blend the bone (marrow, ligiments, et al.). But it is only supposed to be used to destroy secrets. The person destroying the stuff then gets the fiber they need in their diet.
