They eschewed waterboarding themselves so it doesn’t count as a “real” protest.

Wow, he actually got a standing O after all that jeering. For $40,000 I’d let lefty loo-loo libs jeer and turn their backs on me too. Cracks me up, these idiots think they’re winning something by facing the opposite direction, but did ya see them? I think Alberto wins when they turn away. Plus he’s gettin’ PAID for it. I noticed they didn’t interview anybody that was clapping for him, only those who were heckeling or just against him. I’d like to see them interview a GITMO detainee so they can see and hear how much they hate us and wanna kill us. Maybe a few of ‘em’ll wake up. Maybe.

UofF has been well known for a long history of respectful lissting and debate of all forms.
Here we have a second incident in a short period that has elapsed since the Don’t tas me Bro farce.
Combine that with the back turning tactic which was used a lot in the Muslim week discussions and I would have to believe there are traceable links to the same national groups coordinating these types of activities.
You will note from viewing the video and the prior Taser related situation that the vast majority of those present listened with respect regardless of their viewpoints on the speaker.
I support their right to protest as long as it does not attempt to disrupt the chance to listen to obtain information to create an informed opinion by those who chose to attend the event.
Such disruptive behavior violates the free speech of the presenter and I lean more toward even handed rules against disruptive acts inside the event , but fully support the peaceful protest outside of the event venue, but in no way restricting access for those who chose to attend the event.
Disruption is simply admitting you don’t have a worthy argument in the marketplace of ideas.

And people wonder why Ann Coulter starves herself.

No waterboarding and nobody got tased. Clearly the writers strike is even affecting the protesters.
Buzzy on November 20, 2007 at 8:23 PM
As I’ve said before. All these protesters exercising their “free speech” really makes me sad about this fascist empire we’ve created :( – surely we have enough black helicopters to remove these people from society right? And if not, why not? :P

WTF when the cops grab these tools don’t be afraid to jack their arms up so high behind their backs they can rub the back of their empty heads.
Time to find out freedom of speech isn’t free and the bill is due .

Zeros of the Revolution!

Did anyone else watch this on the O’reilly factor? Laura Ingraham had some far left loony lass on, and she shredded her! The girl could do nothing but spout the same old democrat party talking points over and over again. Laura confronted her first thing with free speech, and why she is afraid of it. All the programmed little libtard could do was struggle to get in every single talking point.

Funny how American that are tortured and mutilated are ignored, but anyone in an orange suit and black hood is an icon.
Hening on November 21, 2007 at 8:26 AM
Yeah, who woulda’ thunk that UF students would have access to orange clothing?
